Which One? (",)

OK, I forgot to put these pics in, so here they are. Opinions, pls! I saw these two portraits of our previous Agung's. So, which one is the one on our ringgit bills? Take ur pick, and let me knw wat u tink. Cos I dunno, they both might be.

KL Field Trip

Excitement was not one of my feelings when I was told tht I was chosen for the History excursion trip. In fact, I wasn't very hyped. Haha. But still, I won't lose anything by going. All I gained was a short-lived awe for M'sian history/culture, time with my "dear berbonding partner" and lots of pics! Anyway, I reached skl at 930 AM, whr a few ppl were already gathered. I took off my left sock and put on my ankle guard. Then, Kee gave me my brand new [means re-washed, re-cleaned] wallet, which hasn't looked so white since the day I bought it. LOL! So, both buses arrived at exactly 10 AM. 2H, 2E, 2P and 2D were in Bus 1, cos Pn. Latha teaches all four classes and she was in charge of Bus 1. Honestly, the ride was horrible! It was so hot and blasted Tamil music was on the speakers all the way to KL. The Indians were asking for sumting called Gajini, whatever tht is! Haha.
Kee - reading (duh, XP)
Lavenya & Anita snacking (y's a bottle of Coke there?)
*Smiles*
"Who is tht?" must be running thru ur head rite now. Frankly, I didn't knw at first. But this is, uh, I don't even knw her name, but I call her tanggachi cos tht means... uh, I dunno wat tht means either. Anyway, I'm aka. Akakaka. [The 2nd one was laughter] It means sister in Tamil. HEEHEE. So, Pune-chan & Lavenya were fighting over who gets to take care of her and they were making such a racket. She was running up and down the aisle, threatening to trip any moment.

We reached our first destination: Muzium Negara. There was this row of vehicles showing the evolution of transportation in our country. Me & Teng were so surprised to find the Proton Saga (then again, it's not very surprising) tht we had to take a pic with it. Lol. Here it is:
Refer to Form 1 History textbook! (Wait, am I rite?) Haha. I don't even knw. I think I am lah. See, it's the real bones! Is it just me or is the skull kind of small? Well, doesn't matter. I've actually seen it. Wow! [Note faked enthusiasm]
These next 2 pics are abt the Titanic. Why is it even in the museum? I tot it was Muzium Negara. It's not lik the Titanic sunk in the Malacca Straits. Harhar.

Look, Cuz, Pn. Nermala! =P
I lik this songket cos it's yellow, n it's called "Pucuk Pisang" sumting
Baba Nyonya bridal room
Check this out, fellow Moral lesson classmates! Rmb wat I said abt the female and male chickens under a bed to determine gender of... blah blah blah? Yes? No? Never mind. Haha. Now I hve PROOF!
We proceeded to the National Planetarium. I found this suit which looks similar to sumting I hve at home XD Joking. Sigh, I'm ever so lame. But this made Yoke Pei laugh, anyway. OK, so, I've been here lik twice, and it's still so boring. Same exhibits, same evryting. Tho I had fun with this electrostatic, high voltage thing. Me, Yoke Pei, Teng, Kee & Catherine touched our fingertips together and got electric charges. Yikes! Hahaha. Below is sum satellite. I lik it gold.

L: Anita's D510, R: My measly E630C... We switched
There was this flight of staircases, whr the toilet is located at the back, and I only went there cos of Kee and Teng. So, seeing tht it looked pretty cool (not tht word lah, summat lik tht) I took a pic of it. Took one of Teng.

This is the flight of staircases

Pics wit frens reveal the poser in u... XP It's true! Being with frens, I can't help but take lame pics of us freakin' posers. Hahaha. Does this one below look real? I doubt. No one holds a sword so callously. LOL!
Watch out! I shall rip u apart if u make me look bad *bares teeth*
Badges! If only we were honoured for such wonderful poses XD
Ooh, money! Let's get 'em for our Aerobikthon... heehee...
I dunno y we did this pose here... but it still looks good... right? =P
My vice~ We're in front of sum NNMB thing
Oh my! Another Proton? Snap!
MERDEKA! MERDEKA! MERDEKA! What's "bertempek"? =_=
J.W.W. Birch was killed with this keris, would u believe it? It's so crooked! Belonged to Seputum, I reckon =P
Not very believable, huh? We hve failed to imitate our lifeless counterparts, 'Ling. LOL!

Then we went to KLCC, which must've been the highlight for most. We went there for food lah. Cos Petrosains and Aquaria didn't work out. I had Skipper Fish & Chips, and so did Yoke Pei. I tell u, she can't eat properly! Haha. As in, she can't cut properly, and she didn't want the flour skin. She scraped the meat only. So funny! Me and Kee were laughing at her, and so was she lah, together with us. LOL! Kee said she ate lik her younger sister. XP

At the elevators, there was this pair of twins who r Malay actresses. Me, Teng and Kee were waiting for the elevator tht takes so long, staring at the twins and going, "Who the heck are they?" Haha. Well, we are ignorant.
OK, so we knw tht Aerobikthon has been on for a month. Since it was the last day for submission of donations for the competition, 8 of the 10 of us went on a mission as the rest of 2H depended on us. In the end, the 8 of us collected RM121. An Ausssie fellar gave us AS$5! Haha. And he was droning on and on abt Steve Irwin. Lol. Sad to say, we hve lost our pole position. T_T
Returning home, my pal, Kee and dear Darling hve fallen asleep. Haha. I just love catching ppl unawares.
So, tht was the trip! Good thing this post wasn't titled, "[Insert Title Here... Again]". Haha. Anyway, hope I've written enough. Signing out~

[Insert Title Here]

Yes, my post title is lame, but I really dunno wat to name it. Anyway, things hve been the same old same old. Nothing special's happened. This post is mainly to clarify tht my blog is not dead - yet. So, let's begin.

HAVE U EVER FELT LIK U HVE LOTS OF WORRIES, BUT YET U KNW THT ALL UR PROBS HVE ALREADY BEEN SOLVED? A crowded mind. Tht's wat it is. N tht's how I'm feeling now. Frm down-right ridiculous to very confusing... [the cause of my worries includes a curry chicken bun I left under my desk today n hopefully the morning session girl who sits at my place doesn't flare up or anyting, haha, to friendships getting a little too hard to comprehend n grappling with His ways]. Man, I wish I had a Christian friend I could get to easily. Lik, in skl, there aren't very many - close to none, really. Eventho there is, I hardly hve the chance to talk to her. For the last time, Wei Shern, get a mobile phone already! *Sigh*

Feels lik there's so much skl work to catch up on, n I'm almost finishing, actually. It's already September, n 2006 is abt to end. I should make the most of each day. But, how? I wonder... I'm really just typing whatever enters my head. So, basically, I'm just rambling. At least it's nice to record down my thoughts of the moment. Gah! What am I writing?

I'd better stop now. Until I hve sumting else to write abt. Or else my nxt post will be titled, "[Insert Title Here... Again]". Haha. Wait for tht.

The Curve

As mentioned in my previous post, I went to The Curve today. Wow! Borders has so totally replaced MPH, man. It's way better and I've got so many books on my list now. Tho I didn't buy any, cos I only checked 'em out by way of attraction, so I don't really knw if it's worth it and commended or anything. And Chuan Keat didn't giv me any recommendations. T_T Haha.

Being in Borders has reminded me once again tht I really LOVE books. It feels so nice just standing in between bookshelves, especially when I hve the whole row to myself. Hehe. Books are such amazing things. They transport you to another place eventho you're still in the place you were in the beginning. But the only book tht could transform your life would be the Bible. It's the only one! Surely you've read a book, so full of suspense and action but after you read tht chapter, your life doesn't change or anything. It's still the same. Hehe. And of cos, textbooks which we students are subject to study for the nxt 3 yrs or so of our life definitely DO NOT change our lives - well, it just makes it more miserable.

The magazines there are so much better, so says Mum. And I found out something. Hallmark has got to be the place for gifts and souvenirs! The stuff by Hallmark, especially Angel At Hearts are awesome. Magnets are less boring, cards don't say much anymore... Yes, Hallmark is pricey, but they convey a lot in just a gift. Hehe.

Oh yeah, today was the 3rd time I entered a BodyGlove shop. I've always been put off by 'em cos, if you rmb in my June 8th post, the salesppl follow customers like mice is attracted to cheese. Lol. But I guess the outlet in The Curve is pretty tuned down, mayb cos the store isn't all tht big. So, there was this shirt tht I was aiming for since my b'day shopping trip, and I found it there. But they only had S and L. Today I'm heading for Pyramid on a mission to buy my first BodyGlove product. Hahaha.

In The Curve was whr I found the first store selling Etnies stuff. So happy! Evrytime I think Etnies, it reminds me of Desmond and "Grind" - the film on skateboards whr I first saw the Etnies brand. Man, Desmond, hve you been in Zone 5 before? There was two pairs of flip-flops tht caught my eye. One was RM49 and the other RM79. Both are nice, so I'll see which one I might get after the Topshop flip-flops I hve falls apart or sumthing. Lol.

My bro got a non-permanent/airbrush/fake tattoo on his right upper arm two weeks after I got mine. Hahaha. Ironic. His looks lik the Sly Cooper logo. If you guys played tht on PS2 before. Lol. Mine is still there, at least it's worth RM15, right? Wei Shern must be sighing already. Hehe. Anyway, I ate at KimGary's restaurant. I seriously hve a thing for HK food. They're lik fusion food tht looks strangely enticing and tastes equally delicious. Hehe. But this neighbouring table was so annoying. They kept on staring at us. Yeesh. Lik, what is the prob? However, I did not let tht bother me as much cos I was indulging myself in my fave Milo Ice Blended. AH~ Wonderful. Haha. The last time I ate at KimGary's was on my b'day whr Wei Shern fell sick after tht. Lol. So weak lah his stomach. Me and Mervy were absolutely fine.

In the end, I got a bookmark frm Borders tht costs RM17.90! Lik, so expensive for a bookmark, ya knw. But it's really nice. It says, "Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow," and suits sumone lazy lik me to encourage me to continue reading The Power of a Praying Teen cos I use it for tht book. And my bro got me an "Arctic Monkeys" badge frm Rock Corner. More lik, I chose it for myself cos there was ntg else he liked. Now it decorates my pencil case. Hehehe.

Still, 1U remains my fave shopping mall, cos The Curve is kind of empty, but I lik empty places, no crowds. Haha. But 1U is still the best!

What A Week

The hols are coming to an end. Man, what a relief! I'm missing skl awfully. N I've realized it's not cos of frens or studies (definitely not tht, of cos, haha) but it's cos when I'm doing my daily devotion, there's no way for me to be able to share it wit anyone cos I don't leave the hse so I don't meet anyone tht I'd hve the opportunity to share wit. So I'm really missing skl, cos it's more lik a platform to be used, if u get wat I mean.

Anyway, this whole week has been filled with burger Ramly, Slurpee & Maggi Mee. Haha. But I've pretty much accomplished nothing intellectually beneficial. Except today, whr I hve at last completed my Geography project. Wei Shern came over around 330 PM to help me. He helped last yr too. So, we finished in one day. He made up all the ppl. Actually, they weren't fake. Sum were real. Cos he put in his frens whom I dunno at all. Then we also put Ee May! Haha. You're aged 27 and a chef at the corner restaurant. LOL! Wei Shern's idea. But this proves tht we still rmb u always. Haha. Then he drew the map for my hse.

The whole day I was txt-ing Chuan Keat, who seems to be real free this week. I'm sure when skl begins, he'll be as busy as ever! OK, tmrw I'm going to The Curve to visit Borders. Heard it's awesome. Let me find out for myself. Hmm, so this week is coming to an end. N I didn't really do much. Wasted my days watching anime. I'm so gonna turn into a part-time otaku. Haha. Oh well.

Also, thx to Ah Kym Bo for making me loved Hillsong United all over again! Man, I'm so hooked on 'em. It's almost the only thing I hear on my iPod Mini now. Haha.

36 the Musical

OK, so Friday night marked the first day of the 36 Musical Drama Evangelistical Youth Night thing. Haha. Friday's turnout was less than expected, luckily I wasn't ushering on Friday, else it'd be pretty boring. So, tht night's msg was more laidback and relaxed, and there were sum minor glitches in the musical and others. For example:
i) Jonathan switched on the light when Nadia was abt to change
ii) Joshua said "Mum, whr's Mich?" instead of "Mich, whr's Mum?"
iii) Majority thought tht the drama was hanging at the end
Apart frm tht, it was a great performance.

Saturday night, I arrived at 715 PM. It was a huge letdown cos most of my frens said they couldn't make it. But it was also a huge surprise when my best fren appeared! =D Then, Lyon arrived. Yay! Lyssa was holding my bag, which was pretty empty cos I took evryting out. So, me and Wei Shern (ushers - especially bad at PR skills) were trying to take this opportunity to open up! Lol. Brian was lik, "Smile lah, usher." Haha.

During the musical, I sat beside Jolene. Then, when the msg began, I changed place to sit with Lyon. He's so tall and it seemed difficult cos he bent forward, leaned, bent forward. Haha. And what were you doing with your hands? Lol. Sadly, Amanda couldn't make it. T_T Couldn't take any nice pics, cos video-ing the drama took lots of space. But I deleted it cos Han really took the video poorly. Haha. I took sum pics with Lyon, but unfortunately, Lyssa has to be the worst photographer! Lol. Her hand is SO shaky.

Mr Lian is a great speaker. On Saturday night, it was a more serious msg. And the turnout was strong! Praise the Lord! Hopefully, we'll hve more evangelistical events planned in future.

It's been the norm tht we all adjourn to a certain mamak. So, nearly the entire church went to the Esso mamak. We needed 8 tables, and not only us, there were others sitting elsewhr too. Lik, the PKGH group took around 5 tables, and we (KGH & KJGH) took 8 + 3 [beside us but not joined]. There was this waiter who came around and set sumting on the table tht looked lik sum blended thing. Ser Young was, "Apa ini?" The Indian fellar said, "Ai cha-klat." D'you knw wat tht is? It's ICE CHOCOLATE! Lol. For those of you who figured it out when I wrote ai cha-klat, you're very bright. Haha. So funny lah! Wit the Indian accent and the hand gesture summore.

Me & Mei Er wanted to stay over at Boon Hoy's but he was lik, "NO GIRLS ALLOWED!" Haha. Then Nadia asked me over, but my dad don't lemme spend the night at Kym's hse. Sigh! But nvm.

Before we left for the mamak, I was all, "Don't worry! I'll make it to worship tmrw." And I didn't turn up. Haha. Mei Er & Wei Shern kept on saying I'm lebih. But, my eyes really couldn't open. Now so tired, cos just now went to play captainball at the Chetty field. It was so hot! So much for inaccurate weather forecasts for Klang - specifically. Haha.

Oh yes, btw, Wei Shern, thx for the book and albums you borrowed me. I'm planning to study Power of a Praying Teen to grow as a Christian. Hehehe. Any devotion book recommendations? I'm currently using Ignite Bible Bits. Feel free to leave comments on your recommendations, not on the tagboard, pls. TQ! OK, signing out.

Ws, Riceballs, Electronics & iPods

My day was - and will be - filled with the above subjects. OK, first, I returned to skl after not being around y'day. When I arrived, I saw Ching on the floor. She started scolding me for skipping skl y'day, cos then the meeting had to be cancelled. Haha, sry! Sooner no longer (haha, Chew Yong's words) Angel came. Three of us sat at those tables for studying in the kantin lama. We started talking abt friends n stuff. Angel said tht out of all her friends (in general lah, sort of) I understood her the most. Heehee. I feel honoured.

After tht, when skl began, Lin Kee showed me the onigiri (Jap riceball)'s tht she brought. Me and Ching took a random pick n ended up with both same: carrot. But it tasted more lik porridge than rice (tho porridge cums frm rice, both differ). N there was only two pieces of carrot in it! Haha. Then, I had another one in class during Moral period. It was more lik I was just holding it, cos I planned to eat it on the way to class when we returned to 2H. So I was waiting outside the staffroom holding my half-opened onigiri. Mr Teh was behind me n I didn't realize. Chew Yong was pointing, then I turned, gasped n covered my riceball. But Chew Yong said he saw it, cos he was tiptoe-ing n looking over my book which covered the onigiri. True! When skl ended, he was walking the opposite direction past us. Lin Kee said, "Bye, Sir," n he asked, "How was the sushi?" I didn't hear, I heard, "How was the sushley?" Lin Kee turned to me n said, "Haha, he asked how's the onigiri." I looked at her quizzically, then realized what she said. When I turned to look at Mr Teh he was still watching us, n he laughed when I half-smiled, half-laughed.

Btw, our Living Skills session was on electronics. Had to pasang the stuff lah. Obviously, I did very little. Lin Kee n Yan Teng was bending and arranging my LEDs n wayar pelompat. Hehe. Pn Nadiah cried in class. Yep, "garang-garang pun menangis kan," she said.

At last, my sis gave me her iPod Mini before she left for the States y'day T_T She actually gave me her iPod Mini, u knw? Cos my Shuffle went for repair (my bro's too) n Jo's ended up spoilt n mine got fixed. So I'm passing my Shuffle to Jo n Che gave me her Mini. Yay! I love her! Haha. Not only cos of tht lah. Tonight Ko will reformat it for me. Hope he returns early. So, tht's my day today. Reminder: Thursday got club meeting. Do not miss this time, Amanda!

8 hrs at MVM

As u all knw, today my ensemble got performance in MVEC so I hve to be at Mid Valley Megamall. I was there frm 1 PM to 9 PM! Cos my bro's guitar ensemble got pushed back to 8 PM so we had to stay. My goodness! Dah lah my feet aching. Sigh. N our string ensemble performance was so not happening. They didn't knw we'd need microphones. C'mon! Of cos we'll need 'em. It's a performance, for crying out loud. Anyway, we got our mics after Brandenburg. Tht's a relief. Luckily, they didn't ask us to replay Brandenburg. I'd mess up worse.

The Music of the Night was OK OK. But me and Ee Lyz couldn't hear Violin I frm the other end (whr Violoncello was situated). The teacher, who sat beside me and plays the viola, said she could only hear the cello, and couldn't hear the first violinists. Understandable, tho, cos me and Ee Lyz were right beside her.

Yesterday was better. Ee Lyz started the beat and I was so lost! I didn't even see her give a signal. She looked at me and realized I wasn't following. Then, I dunno what happened. Eventually, the violinists joined in when they saw me and Ee Lyz plucking, so, yeah. Tht appealed more to the audience. News was the only song tht was clear was Yesterday. Man!

Chinese Takeaway, which was s'posed to be done really well, kind of got scattered all over the place. The cellists (both of us) missed the beginning and only started at A. Also, the melody part disappeared too. Haha. We pretty much spoiled the whole thing for ourselves. But we had fun. Now I've gotta buck up for the 2nd Sept. performance, which is rumoured to be really formal formal (note the repetition) in a hotel. Right.

After tht, the skl treated us to McD's. Blah blah blah. Then me, Ee Lyz, Leena & Mee Wei went window shopping. We were observing biker chicks and biker guys. U knw biker chicks who are Malay girls who wear all black, really gothic make-up and sharp spikes round their necks lik dogs? N the biker guys are Malay fellars who wear nerdy tops and jeans which flare at the thighs (which is super-weird) and wrap around a little above the ankle, which makes them look unusual. Quite a number of 'em. Sum with huge sunglasses and dangling bling-bling too. Lol.

Oh, and before I forget, I bumped into Cheng Jin near the GSC cineplex. What a surprise, man! He was lik, "Hey, Amanda!" Then he waved. "What're you doing here?" "Cheng Jin! I hve a performance here." I gestured to the three others who were so blur. "Flute?" "No, cello. Flute is Su Yin lah." "Yah! Haha." "Mmhmm. OK, bye!" "Bye!" And he went off. Lol. Brief conversation but what a huge surprise! He's sure gotten more good-looking then before. Haha. Ee Lyz, Leena & Mee Wei were lik, "Oh, oh." U knw lah, frens are always lik tht. Doesn't matter tho.

When my frens left for PJ adi, and I was still stuck in MV, my elder bro, Jack took me to Haagen-Dazs. Ah, it was the first time I'm tasting Haagen-Dazs ice cream. I ordered Strawberry Cheesecake which is my fave even for Baskin Robbins. Having three scoops of ice cream: Strawberry Cheesecake, Rum Raisin & Macadamia Nut [shared with my bro] it cost RM28.55! Wow! N the scoops were darn tiny, I tell u. But I guess it's standard for a brand lik this.

Now I'm back and am so tired. Hope I hve enough energy when I'm in worship tmrw. OK, I'll stop here. Signing out~

36 @ KGH

Another opportunity to evangelise, ppl of God! Hehe. KGH YF is staging a musical nxt Friday & Saturday, 18th & 19th. At 7:45PM. Stars are: Go and find out lah. Last 6th May there was a rally too, so any of you who missed tht, try to make it this time.

Below is the flier for this upcoming event. Nice, rite? I wonder who designed it. Haha. Who designed it, Wei Shern? Everyone is welcome... even old folks (lik Uncle Yoon Loi said, lol).

Adrian says tht this speaker, Mr. Lian Mung Yee is really good. And if you wanna invite loved ones or friends to a rally, this would be the right one. So make an effort! Pray abt it and God will answer.
God bless! Signing out~

Intricate Complication

It has happened again. Man, and I was being so nice. I don't get it. If sumone doesn't tell u anything, then how do they expect u to understand them? Yeesh. But, there's a bright side. It was exhilarating! Now I'm thinking I should've waited. Then again, I hve no patience to stand and embarrass myself. After all, I lepaskan geram on Teng adi when we played badminton. My right arm aches. Oh no! I forgot to do warm down, and I'm having my dinner in front of the monitor. Sei foh! Hang on.

***
OK, I hope I did enough. Haha. I really did the warm down, in case u're thinking I'm joking. Anyway, back to the "Intricate Complication". This is so twisted. Btw, Sakai, sry I couldn't break with u. Had to handle what I handled. Lol. I told my friends abt it cos, u knw, they can tell when sumthing's happened. Besides, me jumping, groaning, and rapping my knuckles on the desk incessantly must've said it all. Then, they came to a conclusion: I was not at fault, but it might appear so frm the other perspective. Tho, logically, there would be no reason for such complicated upset-ness towards me. Haha.

It might not end well this time. But I guess it's a chance for me to see how far I can manage without. After all, I've been thinking abt such an opportunity. Might as well take it.

Now, abt P.E. lesson this evening. I didn't lepas geram on Teng lah. I lepas geram on the shuttlecock using my racket! Obviously... Swt... Haha. Then before going back, Puvanaes came to me and said, "I saw sumthing amazing today." I looked at her quizzically. She went on to explain tht she saw a certain classmate receiving instructions frm me to pick the shuttlecock which I, receiving a bad hit frm Teng (haha, OK lah, it was my fault too, I shouldn't've hit it knwing exactly what d outcome would be). I feel so bad cos it's Ahdesya's. But it was really worn out, broken feathers and stuff, therefore I shall explain to her with heartfelt regret =D Really, Puvanaes is just kua cheong-ing. I don't hate her anymore [I don't mean Puvanaes, I mean who Puvanaes is talking abt, if u don't already knw]. I just don't talk to her. Maybe I should. But I dunno how to begin. So let's put tht aside first.

So, today I learned how to say "Urp... !" in 3 diff ways, and I'm gonna torment u with it, Angel! One thing I can look forward to tmrw is the Thursday meeting of the Club of W's. Yay! Tht is whr we're gonna play 007 Bang! and I shall go "Urp... !"-ing to annoy Sakai. Hehe.

That's all lah. But I remind myself once again, the only one I need is You... thru it all~

Past Few Days

This is one of those boring posts with no particular highlight being the driving point of said post.

Anyway, y'day I had another one of those fights (which I'm so used to, but will be over before I knw it). Man, how can I compensate for how I explained it? Forget tht la, evryting'll be fine. Can't be communication-less for too long, after all. Just hve to wait. But I'm OK... as always.

So, there was also the Club of W's, um, 2nd or 3rd meeting? I had assam laksa n it's not bad. Shared with Angel (Weirdo #6 aka Sakai) cos, well, she asked. N she had a sore throat, but being the kind person I am (haha, self-flattery, helps increase self-esteem) I still let her eat mine. Outcome: I am down with sore throat now. Eating lots of Fisherman's Friend Apple & Cinnamon, the only flavour I lik. There's s'posed to be another meeting today, but Weirdo #2 aka Vain is unwell. We shared lotsa food: keropok, biscuits, tart. N I made Sakai hold lotsa stuff for me. She said tht "friend" n "servant" r diff. Not apparent to me tho. LOL. Jkjk.

Other things this week is a performance in Mid Valley's exhibition hall at 1430 hours (lol, 230 PM). Ah! I hve to buck up, man. Practiced twice, and I'm still a bit slow at Brandenburg. Hve to sit beside the teacher summore, cos Ee Lyz get's the outer hand. Ugh! But I luv Chinese Takeaway, so easy, and so's Yesterday. Yin Shi, pls join the ensemble again! ='( My cello strings r turning green, lik dragon scales. LOL. Really, Ee Lyz always covers up for me when I'm lost. Haha. N luckily we're not playing Canon. Imagine, the same 8 notes for over 5 mins. Suicide, man.

The music exam last Thursday was alright. Messed up twice, but apart frm tht, did OK. However, Chew Yong, Lin Kee, Puvanaes & Lavenya spread the news tht I was admitted to hospital (specifically, according to Puvanaes, Pantai Medical... what, man!) Appears my leg has turned into a serious case, n the day before we played badminton, n my hold on the racket made my hand all red, n I called it blood, so Chew Yong said tht I'm admitted cos of my hand too. Seriously. N when skl ended I got text-es frm classmates asking me which hospital I'm in (I tot they knew?) n how m I keeping. Hahaha. I feel so bad and came clean the nxt day.

Well, tht's abt all. At least there's sumting to read now.

Good Day

God has blessed me wit a better day than y'day. Sure, I got sum stares today. Ching aka "Vain" (hoho, weird buddy) n Ee Von came over to ask me y I was standing y'day. I explained, n they said I looked really scary. Oh well, I'm getting tht a lot. Anyway, after tht, during Maths class, Mr. Choo came back, n he looked at me n said, "Y? Wat's wrong wit u? Amanda?" Then when I gav him sign the BKK, I told him. He was lik, "Wanna sue a not?" I said, "Yes. My brother n ur son can b my lawyers." Haha. Tht's cos his son n my bro studied together in UWE in UK, blah blah blah.

During BM lesson, En. Yarha also asked me, "Kenapa berdiri semalam?" I had to tell him my story. Then he said, "Saya terkejut." Cos of seeing me stand la. After tht was English, n Pn. Pari called Chew Yong in front. I knew I wud b nxt, but I wasn't exactly worried, cos I had sumting else to focus on: Lavenya! U knw, I fell into the drain (n had a taste of those pokey plants) n got both legs hurt. Man! Y'day n today, Lavenya n Lin Kee hve been taking turns to urut me wit Chew Yong's minyak kapak. I've been shouting n goin, "Ai-ya-ya-ya-ya-ya" and "Har har!" Not laughing, tht's jus how I sounded when it's really pain, n I go "Ai-ya... " when it's abt to be really pain. LOL!

OKOK, abt Pn. Pari. Then, she called me after Lavenya applied Savlon antiseptic cream (she put so much!) Here's the conversation:

Pn. Pari (PP): What happened y'day?
Me: I was passing sumting to Chew Yong n Pn. Khairiah saw us.
PP: Wat were u passing?
Me: Liquid paper.
PP: U couldn't keep it urself?
Me: I knew I had to go in front for the Spelling Bee thing so I didn't want it to be visible whr I hid it so I gav it to Chew Yong (I said this real fast so she wouldn't hear the "whr I hid it" part =P)
PP: OK. N u didn't keep it in ur bag?
Me: I took it out. (Wat a lame answer! If it's not in my bag, then obviously I took it out, rite? Aih. I'm so illogical sumtimes.)
PP: Mmm... [Looks at my leg as I bend down to check on the cream] How's ur leg?
Me: It's OK. But standing y'day kind of put a toll on it. (This is so true! Lavenya said my leg really changed colour after standing for 35 mins y'day. Oh oh, skl abuse!)
PP: I didn't understand why they had to make u two stand. Actually, I didn't realize u both were there. N she (DP) had to call all the prefects to stand behind to make it more obvious. (I so did not realize tht DP did tht, cos evryone was whispering "Spotcheck... ") I've spoken to her before to not ask students to stand. It would jus demotivate them. I mean, tell me, out of so many students, only u all were talking? There's almost 600 students, n I can say tht almost half of them - 300 - were talking. Sum in front also I saw them chatting.
Me: Yeah, true. In fact, I was shocked also when she called me. I didn't tink tht I had to stand. N when I came to skl, a few ppl were looking at me. Sigh.
PP: I was shocked too. Cos u r good girls. I was very sad tht they asked u to stand. When I went home also I was tinking tht tmrw when u girls cum back to skl, surely u will feel embarrassed n receive many stares. But nvm them.
Me: Well, actually, I was afraid tht I'd be disappointing u. It's lik, 2H has a bad name already...
PP: [Cuts in] No, don't tink tht. I'm sure all the teachers knw tht u r good girls. I'll make sure they knw tht u r good girls. (I wonder how... (".) But, Amanda, jus forget it. She's the discipline teacher. Out of so many students, she chose to pick u all as examples for the others. Wrong examples.
Me: [Nod, nod, nod]
PP: Take this as a challenge to show tht u're better than this. Don't feel tht cos u had to stand, then u're no good already. When u leave this skl at Form 5, get straight As n walk out wit dignity.
Me: [Nod, nod, nod] (Wat was I to say, anyway?)
PP: Chew Yong, cum here. (Chew Yong shuffles uncertainly) [Then Pn. Pari repeats wat she said to me abt the dignity thing, n looks at me as she says this, then Chew Yong looks at me expectantly] ("Wat?" my face says) Now, girls, u go back to ur seats. [Gets up, n turns to the class] I'm sure u knw d incident y'day at assembly? Three of our girls were called to stand up. I wonder how u all were feeling when u saw them. Surprised? Sad? Happy? I'm sure u all were surprised n sad, definitely not happy. I was too. But u knw, girls, let this b a lesson to u to talk less n work harder. Stay alert. When it cums to assembly, jus don't talk until u can.

Really, she's the only teacher tht I've ever felt cud cum close to being a mother for me in skl. Anyway, tht's wat she said. Quite a lot, eh? Then, after tht, evryting was pretty normal. But I thank God once again for being ever so faithful to me. When I came to skl, I knew He was wit me. All I had to do was get thru the day. Thank you, Jesus! U hve rode n overcome this tiny storm wit me.

Bad Day

I had a bad day... on Wei Shern's b'day summore. Aiyah! It started lik this, well, OK, I was passing Chew Yong sumting, n I went abt my own business, not doin anyting. Then Pn, Khairiah (frm here on known as DP for Disciplinary Teacher) (see, I still show her respect, yeesh) came to us and blah blah blah. I was SHOCKED. She ordered us to stand when evryone sits. I was praying the entire time. "Oh Lord, help me, pls. Do anyting. Whatever. Jus don't spoil today for me." Cos u c, I wud b getting my Spelling Bee prize after such a long time, and Lavenya & Jas Min came up to me b4 tht n were lik, "U're getting ur prize today, Manda! At last." I tot so too. But, of all days, y today? Jus lik when I got my Pres tag, 2H was announced dirtiest class n we had to stand in front. Is it always goin to b lik this? So when they announced the Spelling Bee "Johan", I could feel all eyes on me. Took a deep breath, walked in front wit ntg in my head. Received my prize, managed a weak smile and a thank you, turned back n kept my eyes reverted frm evryone else's. Evrybody mus b tinking, Ah, Spelling Bee. Oh, Amanda, rite? Yeah, tht one standing. But I needn't care abt them. Frens has been telling me tht I looked real sad-angry when I came back after taking my prize (haven't opened it until now. I offered Yan Teng my certificate, it's worth ntg to me rite now). I wonder if I've let down my class, lik 2H has got a bad enough name, n now... Oh well, I might b blowing things out of proportion. But I'm a real exaggerator when it cums to things tht seem exaggerated to me. Do I make sense, Cuz? (Directing it to u, cos u sort of understand me when I don't make sense =])

Romans 8:28 says, "In all things God works for the good of those who love Him... " I knw I must b making a big issue of this, but it is big for me. Still, ALL THINGS. I txt-ed Chuan Keat n he said "time heals evryting" n u knw, he's a real comfort! =D But, well, I've got sum real great frens too. Jolene's been so nice. Hehe. N Rob's a huge help too, cos, well, she disliks DP too n she jeling-ed at DP for making me stand. Wit a bow, I say THANK U! Not only tht, she wrote a post abt today, go c it, a more rough point at DP. But it's not lik I hate DP now. I'm not angry at her - at all - in fact. I'm jus upset tht d day I waited for had to b ruined lik tht. Altho my cousin hasn't been very helpful, but one thing she said jus stuck: "U made it thru today, rite? Then u'll make it thru." So eventho I might b getting stares n stuff, but I figure tht Hebrews 13:5 speaks well: "Nvr will I leave u, nvr will I forsake u." OK, altho, yes, it might seem lik a real small thing, but u knw, it's big for me (I knw I'm repeating). N things lik this, they jus, I dunno, at least for me, it makes an impact. But it's good, cos, lik I discover sum tings. Either way, I pray tht my week will go on fine. Another verse, hehe, 1 Peter 5:7 says, "Cast all ur anxiety on Him because He cares for u." N all God's ppl say, AMEN!

Masak-Masak 2!

Masak-Masak 2! Alas, the nxt cooking session tht I had been waiting for but dead sure wouldn't happen. Haha. So, Pn. Pari said tht we had to do a cooking presentation. It was to improve speech, teamwork, and basically jus hve fun. My group is obviously me, Yan Teng, Lavenya & Anita, cos we all sit together. We told anyone who asked us tht we were either making French Fries or faking cookies using Famous Amos (they're real good, especially Double Choc and Raisin Oatmeal Cinnamon =D) But we were really actually making Potato Salad, Yan Teng's recipe. Anyway, this is Teng, before our presentation. She was s'posed to look nervous, but I dunno what she's trying to portray here. LOL! Same for Lavenya. They just don't do it right! Haha.
Then, me and Yan Teng went to wash the stuff - OK, I went to watch her wash the stuff - but yeah, tht's her there. Huge bowl, right? Belongs to me. Yan Teng asked for the biggest bowl on Earth - it's the biggest in my kitchen - hehe.
So sorry, Teng, I knw u're really gonna kill me if u find out I put this pic on my blog. Haha. But at least it's proof u washed, right? Tho there's no reason u need any proof, cos obviously I wouldn't be doing it. LOL.
But, Teng, I can make up for tht pic above. This pic below shows clearly how terribly distorted ur enemy can be when she's all blur! U're gonna love me for this. Haha.
So we began. Lavenya started, and she's s'posed to chop the potatoes into three-quarters, for bitesize pieces. I repeat, bitesize. Why d'you chop it so big?! Haha. Lavenya cut it into half, then another half, and threw it all into the big bowl. LOL! Then we had a rough time mashing it after tht.
That's me sprinkling salt and pepper. I'm moving la so it looks bad. But I dunno why Lavenya and Teng are laughing? Nxt, I poured the mayonnaise, and Yan Teng was totally restricting me frm pouring more than my heart told me. Despite tht, I still poured a lot, and in the end, we had to use the whole tub anyway.
Here Yan Teng is cutting the fresh onions. With the skin and all, u knw, after all, we did call it fresh. Hehe. Mixed the onions and cabbage (which was s'posed to be celery) into the bowl. Mix mix mix!
OK, let me explain why mine and Lavenya's hands r lik tht. Our plan was to present the bowl when Anita showed it to the audience, but it didn't work out cos our dialogue was thrown all over the place. Nevertheless, ours was smooth. Haha.
Pune-chan has a bad hand. Tht is a fact and a statement. Really, she shakes so much until we had to take so many pics of this.
Then there's the occasional ghost of Chew Yong, coming back for MORE potato salad =]
Finally, the perfect (almost) shot of young chefs in the making (OK, I knw we only made potato salad, but syok sendiri la... haha)
LOVE BETWEEN FRIENDS. Hahaha. But we didn't eat it la, I ate mine and she ate hers.
The masterpiece in all it's yellow glory. LOL. But if I do say so myself, ours was the best and tastiest one in the class. Everyone else did tuna sandwiches and vege salads.
Oh, camwhoring, a tradition everytime there's a digicam around. I guess it's knocked into me, hasn't it? Also, we took sum videos. There's this really nice one tht shows the 4 of us digging into our potato salad, and another of Yan Teng doing who knws wat. If u want it, IM me on MSN or sumting and I'll send it over. Haha.
I was walking past them jus lik every other day, when it hit me again. Fishing out the digicam, I took a pic of this group of little minions. I tink sumone oughta run 'em down. Everyday they block my way. This is MGS SECONDARY! Wait at the bus stop at the other side or sumting. Don't they teach u Moral anymore? Bertimbang Rasa, Mulia, Harmoni. If u wanna live in peace wit me, beat it! OK la, I'm not tht brutal, but still. Haha. Tht's all la, jus wanted to end this post wit this pic.
Btw, all readers pls pray for me tmrw as I depart into the wilderness/jungle tht is called Camp Angelic, PBSM '06. *Sigh* I'm really not looking forward to it. Haha. Jus rmb me. LOL.

It's Over and Done With

MGS Monthly Test 2 is unofficially over today! Yay! Gone are the days whr I hve to sit at the side sweating buckets (OK la, not tht kua cheong) Anyway, tmrw there's Arts for only 30 mins, so I'll hve to at least study a bit later. Um, the past 3 days' papers were relatively easy - but my intuition always fails me when it comes to predictions for tests - haha.

Btw, has anyone tried KFC's Cheesy BBQ Meltz?? I had it for lunch today and it's really delicious! Haha. The nachos just changes evryting and the mozzarella-BBQ mayo combo is a total success. SMASHING!

Hmmm. Tmrw's July 20th. Here's a shout out to a best buddy: HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHUAN KEAT! Now u knw tht I actually call u tht? LOL. I've no present for u, but isn't this good? A birthday wish for all net users (and there's a lot!) to see. But, logically, very little ppl visit my blog space anyway. Hehe.

Back to test, cos tht's the main highlight of the post. Uh, first day we had BM, Moral & Science. I hve to talk abt Science! Mr. Teh's poor command of English shows thru lik light seeping thru an open window in an attic tht's nvr been found for 15 yrs. Yep! Tht obvious. And today in class he was lik, "U all dunno how to differentiate between strategies, ways and habits la." Aight, they are diff, but not very ketara. But, well, wat has past has past.

Then, y'day there was English, Maths & History. Taking a peep at the last page, Yan Teng turned around and spread the news to our group in the A-L (names) category: "Literature is CHARACTER!" And all of us sigh with relief. I wrote a 386-word essay. The more I write, the more I realize tht Erik really is a spectrum of emotions. So many things to write! I barely finished counting it. I lik constructing triangles in Maths. And History was pretty easy cos I studied really hard for it before tht.

Alas, today we had Living Skills, Geography & Civic Studies. For Living Skills there was a few errors and Pn. Rose told us. #1: 3 to 4 [whr she says, "This error I knew I didn't hve to write. Obviously u knw after 3 is 4, right? But u all r lik babies," and the class rolls their eyes], #2: Pemboirong to pemborong ["Do u actually tink it's pemboirong? Of cos not, but, as the teacher I still must write."] Then just write and quit talking. I did Geography with absolute confidence but slowed my tempo down cos I was getting guilt pangs for answering the questions so quickly as if I was hentam-ing/tembak-ing. And eventho I borrowed Mei Er's protractor, I forgot to take it out! What stupidity. Tapping Chew Yong's table, she passed me the entire geometry set. Haha. And Civic Studies basically, most of 2H weren't serious. Chew Yong was eating, Yan Teng was making noise and I was talking. Pn. Pari was lik, "Go to sleep if u're done." Nearly all of us were done. Civic Studies wasn't really tht great a paper. Most of the tarian stuff I mixed and matched. LOL! Who spread the news abt Tema 5 coming out?? I'll get u for it. Memorizing the organizations and all. Hwa liau eh! But nvm la, preparation for End-Yr Exams. Hehe.

So, yeah, tht's all abt the test. Now gotta prepare for Arts tmrw or else Pn. Rose will go, "I told u girls to just read my notes. I'm a good teacher but u all don't concentrate in my class. Wat can I do? I've already done as my job requires." Talk abt dedication in teachers? Pfft.

The Fray

Let's write abt my fave music at the moment. Ya knw, music defines my life. The kind of music I'm hearing right now sort of portrays what I'm thinking, jus lik how music relates to evryone. Haha. But the music I'm listening to does kind of la, and besides wat I'm goin to post, in my "Currently Listening To" column is other music tht I'm hearing. So, um, right now I'm hearing lots of The Fray, and they rock, man! Haha. I want to post lyrics of "Trust Me" and "How To Save A Life", both by The Fray. For all u alternative rock fans lik me, it might appeal to u.

Looking for sumting I've nvr seen
Alone and I'm in between
The place tht I'm from
And the place tht I'm in
A city I've nvr been
I found a friend or should I say a foe
Said, 'There's a few things u should knw'
We don't want u to see
We come and we go
Here today, gone tmrw

We're only taking turns
Holding this world
It's how it's always been
When u're older, u will understand

If I say who I knw it just goes to show
U need me less than I need u
Take it frm me
We don't giv sympathy
U can trust me, trust nobody
But I said u and me
We don't hav honesty
The things we don't want to speak
I'll try to get out but I nvr will
Traffic is perfectly still

We're only taking turns
Holding this world
It's how it's always been
When u're older, u will understand

And again mayb u don't
And again mayb u won't

"How To Save A Life" also fits my mind now, so check it out.

Step one, u say we need to talk
He walks u, say 'Sit down, it's just a talk'
He smiles politely back at u
U smile politely right on thru
Some sort of window to ur right
As he goes left n u stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
And u begin to wonder y u came

Whr did I go wrong, I lost a fren
Sumwhr along in the bitterness
And I wud hav stayed up wit u all night
Had I known how to save a life

Let him knw tht u knw best
Cos after all u do knw best
Try to slip past his defence
Without granting innocence
Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things u've told him all along
And pray to God he hears u

C/O

As he begins to raise his voice
U lower urs and grant him one last choice
Drive until u lose the road
Or break wit the one u've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to evryting
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And u'll begin to wonder y u came

Sounds nice, eh? Go d/l it or sumting. Haha. I think it's long enough, isn't it? And btw, "fray" means "conflict" or "dispute". Cool. Anyone who falls in love wit The Fray, come find me! We can gush all day long~

Masak-Masak!

Bon appetit!
Close up
News tht my class, 2H were going to cook during this week's Living Skills was met with excitement and whoops of happiness. So, well, y'day Yan Teng passed me a piece of paper with evrything I was s'posed to bring. And I looked at it, and without even having to say a word, Yan Teng was, "Just bring what you can, 'kay? Tho I think I'll bring most of the stuff. You just bring kain and stuff for hiasan. Call me tonight, and tell me what you can - uh, bring." Oh, my friends so understand me! LOL.

The next day all I had to bring was spring onion, tomatoes and chilli. And the kain lah. You knw, this is the first time I'm looking forward to Living Skills. Wow! Anyway, me and Yan Teng were so hyped we told evryone frm our Group A to be ready to leave by 6:05PM cause the both of us were going to set the place on fire. Haha, I knw, syok sendiri.

Anyway, when I arrived evryone was outside wearing their aprons. I collected my stuff and entered to find Pn. Nadiah. I was lik, "Hai, Cikgu!" She laughed a bit (dunno why) and said, "Aman-der (you knw, she pronounces my name lik tht, but tht's better than Ah-man-dah and she won't be able to say Amanda simply, so, you get it) keluar pakai apron dulu." I groaned, then I decided I could leave my things here, then wear the apron. Haha. "Saya letak barang sini, ya," and I put my stuff on her table. She chuckled and was, "Ya, Aman-der." Aman-der... so strange~

Then we set to work. Pick, mix, wash, cut, slice~ We started cooking and stuff. Yan Teng made me cut the mushrooms first, and you knw, any kind of food tht I try to do anything with most probably will end up spoilt. And so it was with the mushrooms. "Leave it, Manda, I'll do tht." Haha! OK, not evrything I do tht has to do with cooking will end up bad lah. Exaggerating only. Hehe.

So I didn't cut the mushrooms, instead I made the drink! Yes, grape juice. Easy and there was lots of sugar. But I balanced it out and got the perfect taste. Put it in the fridge and left.

Pn. Nadiah came over and taught us the first steps then she left us for sembahyang time. I was tumbuk-ing the onion and ginger when Pn. Nadiah returned. Before tht I was making a heck of a noise on the table, then when she came, Lavenya: "Psst... Tumbuk on the floor lah! Teacher's here adi." Good ol' friend! Hehe. So I proceeded to make noise on the floor, not above it. I seriously tumbuk until it was seriously tumbuk-ed. Teacher said I did a good job! =D

I was done tumbuk-ing so I took out the curry puffs I bought frm Pn. Nadiah in the afternoon. They're really good, you knw! RM1 for 3. Darn cheap, right? Go get it if you catch Pn. Nadiah before 1:20PM or something. Haha. I fed Yan Teng some, and she was lik, "Manda, you are keng man!" LOL. And then I gave Chew Yong some. If Pn. Nadiah's business improves just slightly, hope she knws it's me. Haha. Joking.

After the spaghetti was cooked, we started putting in the tomato puree, sauce, paste, whatever together with the fried garlic, onion, ginger. Yan Teng and I alternated between cooking and washing. I washed so slowly and it wasn't a great job either. Haha. I'm extremely snail-lik when it comes to hse chores.

Cause of tht, Yan Teng took over the washing and I did the cooking. Yay! When the washing was finished, Yan Teng continued the cooking and I set up the table. First, I put the flowers in the middle, then asked, "Teng, how is it?" She said, "Manda, put it properly. Somewhr else so got space for the food also." I shifted it higher, then asked Yan Teng again. She laughed, and was, "Yeah, lik tht OK." Haha. All I did was move it to the end.

Teacher came around and tried our food and drinks. She said our drink was tawar and the spaghetti fine. What the -? Drink... tawar. Taking the cue after she walked away, me and Yan Teng grabbed the jug and drank straight frm it. Tawar... tawar... it's sweet lah! Maybe age actually spoils tastebuds. LOL!

When she graded evryone's food, she started telling us our tugasan at the whiteboard. Instead of doing the work, Yan Teng and I left it to Seah Yih and Anita and went around trying Chew Yong & Jia Ying's spaghetti (best - so far - until we tried Lin Kee's at the roadside, I mean the location, not tht the spaghetti was on the roadside or anything), Lavenya & Joanna's (I can't rmb the taste, so you could figure tht it wasn't memorable, haha) and Seah Yih & Anita's (too lil sauce and the noodles were hard). OK, been commenting so much on others, but Yan Teng and mine's I've shut up. But ours was kind of sour. Satisfactory, tho.

Now I can't wait for the next masak-masak session for KH!

Chapter II

You're right, Amelia, I am blogging about the Interschool Rally =] OK, so I came. I saw. I left. And, it rocked! Haha. Despite my indecisiveness, asking my friends whether or not I should go, blah blah blah, I still attended the rally. So anyway, at 5:57PM (exactly) Gerard arrived at my hse to pick me up. Then we went to Lyssa's hse and she wasn't ready at all! Haha. So we waited in her hse until she was done at 6:20PM. Hehe.

When we arrived at Hin Hua it was so packed with ppl. Mei Er was waiting outside with Kym so we weren't lost in the crowd. There I was introduced to Mei Er's friend (who's now also my friend, haha) Amanda Lee Siu Chern. Yes, you can either call her Amanda or Siu Chern. I call her my name. Hehe. And Amanda thought I was Form 4. Really! Anyway, I met some ppl I knw there, but I knew they would be there, so no surprise. The T-shirts were gone adi, but Mei Er had some booked for her so I got one cause she promised me and Amanda tht she'd buy one for each of us (she promised both Amandas, what man! Lik she promised all her friends, so said Amanda, haha) I got an M which was kind of huge but I guess it's fine. I'm lucky tho, many ppl couldn't get it. Mei Er said there were ony 200 T-shirts & over 1000 ppl. Hah!

While waiting for a missed call I was expecting, Amanda & Mei Er started camwhoring. Kym's finger was over the camera and both of us were lik, "Eh, all dark la wei!" "You're covering the camera, so of course la!" LOL. What to do, how would me and Kym knw how to use Amanda's 3250. Summore twist here, twist there. Haha.

Anyway, I got the missed call and called Lyon back since I was s'posed to. He joined us, and it was easy to find him, he's so tall! Haha. But we had to find for Lyssa, she kept on reappearing and disappearing. When we were gathered together, we headed up to the hall. Found places at the side, and since I didn't wanna hold my T-shirt all the time, Vincent took care of mine! Thanks Vincent! Lyon sat behind me and Mei Er & Kym sat beside me. Haha. Just saying la. In the middle row I could see Amanda P., Michelle Tan, Angel, etc. They were all waving and gesturing to me to come. But I just smiled and shook my head. I was staying right whr I was (it's a comfortable place =D) Oh, and Jolene says I look taller than in skl. Yay! Haha.

When the music started it was pretty loud. And everyone went in front. Cause I was standing in between Lyon & Gavin (both really tall guys) when they clapped it was like so close to my ear and the noise was deafening. Joanne and Han had to shout to talk to me. After close to an hour of singing, we returned to our seats. Then there was dramas and all. You know, rally stuff. But there was a lot of jumping. However, I didn't jump. Gerard said tht he could see me and Kym just standing with everyone around us jumping. LOL! Must've looked out of place.

During the message, OK, I admit, our row weren't paying much attention. Lyon was lik, "You know, none of us are paying attention at all." Haha. Me, Mei Er & Amanda were camwhoring with Amanda's 3250 - again - and Mei Er's W810i. To be specific la. Haha. But seriously, we couldn't hear what the pastor was saying. It was lik we caught just little bits and pieces of his message. So we paid attention at the ending, straining our ears to hear what the pastor was saying. After tht, we prayed and he asked all Christians who want him to pray for them to go in front. I looked at Kym and she was lik, "Wanna go?" I nodded. "Let's go." Haha. So we went.

When everything was over, Wei Shern came over after I got my T-shirt back frm Vincent. He's so sweet, holding my T-shirt for over 3 hrs. Hehe. "Why you didn't go Doulos?" asked Wei Shern. "I got music class." "Is it?" "Yeah, every Saturday wert." "Ya lor." "You wearing another shirt inside?" Then Lyon came, "Eh, yala! Why you wear another shirt?" He was wearing the shirt tht me and Mervy chose for him when we went shopping on my b'day, if you guys rmb tht previous post. OK, nvm, go back! "And this shirt is so huge for you," I said (as in the rally shirt) "It's not mine. I forgot to bring mine." "Ah," said Lyon. Haha. Then Amanda came and was lik, "Ugh! I'm starving. Let's go and eat la~" "Me too," said Wei Shern. "Gerard's bringing us for mamak. Wanna go?" I asked. "Can't la wei. I live in Bkt. Tinggi," said Amanda. Awww... ! Then Gerard came. "Gtg now, guys. Too late later can't send 'em home early." So Wei Shern didn't come, and Lyon had to go adi (and there we confirmed whether or not he wanted a DiGi number so tht I txt him cheaper =P)

All of us went downstairs, and Amanda was lik, "Aiyoh! After this can't see you anymore. So sad. Bye-bye!" Then we hugged and she left. T_T Hehe. When me, Gerard, Lyssa, Gavin & Jacqueline went to Modern, Mei Er called saying she was with Kym & Vincent in the mamak opposite Esso and asked us to cancel all our orders and go. Lik we would! Haha. Besides, the food in Modern is way better than the Esso mamak. Then Uncle Yoon Loi, Aunty Woon Do, Uncle Johnson, Aunty Meg, Uncle Drew & Aunty Mee Ching came. Shortly after, Sean, Joshua, Xin Xin and another guy arrived. They just returned frm sending Ee May off to Adelaide. Oh, I'm so gonna miss her for the nxt 4 months. Here's a shout out to you Down Under! Sean and all sat at the table beside us, and Prom King was all, "Eh, better eat fast. Go home and sleep. Tmrw worship, you knw! And send Prom Queen home first." He pointed at me. "She's princess, must go home first." Ah! Ever since I asked him abt the prom (cause of Matthew) he's been calling me Prom Queen and I to him Prom King (this is cause he was nominated). Besides, what was he still doing there then? Hahaha.

I had Nasi Goreng Pattaya and the five of us were discussing, um, flatulence & burping. Me & Gavin agreed tht burping was way more acceptable and polite than flatulence. C'mon, man! Everyone knws tht. But no, Gerard, Lyssa & Jacqueline were lik, tentang-ing us. OK, forget tht. Btw, there're no pics cause I didn't bring my cam along. Good thing, tho, or else Vincent would hve to hold it for me also, haha, =P

Well, I returned home at 11.30PM, and since the rally ended, I was txting Jolene. She's so nice to txt me so quickly. Haha. I slept at 12:30AM. The rally was really awesome, and you knw, lik one of my friends said, I could make up my mind whether or not to go nxt yr if I go this yr, and I think I'll go nxt yr too =D But really, the rally was great! The fellowship and the praise & worship ruled the place, man! Again, as I quoted in a previous post (and this quote was used against me also, lol) "... and now I think rallies rock!"

Just Felt Like It

This post is for no particular reason, I just felt like blogging. And besides, there is something to blog about. My friendship with someone (a classmate) is now a little awkward, but still stable. So that's one statement on something. And my class, 2H has changed our seating plan. Pn. Pari asked me to, so I did. And the class were all "NO! C'mon~" But you know, they still shut up. However, after that, Izzati aka Destructive Force Spewing Unintelligible But Easily Interpreted Mockery was glaring at me and going "BLAH!" the way she peppers all her sentences at the end. So, well, yes, unintelligible but easily interpreted mockery.

After awhile, they got used to it, but before that there were whispers here and there that it was unfair for Lavenya to sit beside me. What the heck! So I adopted a plan: DEFY & IGNORE. Haha. It worked you know. You shouldn't let ppl like tht get to you. Can't please everyone, can you?

So now we've got new places, but Yan Teng still occasionally says stuff like, "Manda, I hate you. You took my place." So I guess I've gotta get used to it cause I put her beside Anita who's behind me, and yes, I did take her place. I mean, look at it! So tempting, with the fan, and the distance from the board is just right. What d'you expect? You made me do the seating plan! =D

Oh, and these few days I've been playing with water a lot. Cause, like, me, Yan Teng, Chew Yong & Lin Kee snuck out and messed with the taps. So y'day we did tht too. And Yan Teng, well, I was in her way and she gave me those BodyGlove prints. I think Chew Yong threw like so much water at her back, and she didn't realize cause she was chasing me. Then when we returned to class, she kind of threw up - water - and of all places to be, Yan Teng, why my place?! It's like she was so strategically placed. So there beside me from BM, 2nd period I sat beside a puddle of Yan Teng's - well, what d'you call it? - watery stuff. Ick! I'm grossing myself. Enough! But it's been fun, just tht we might've been disrupting 2K & 2P. Cause we've been running and making lots of noise everytime we chase each other back to class. Sry!

And everything is fine now. But you know, friendships nowadays are kind of difficult for me. Maybe cause I'm weird, so I have weird friendships or connections with ppl. Not all, though. Certain ones. And some will remain awkward while others are normal. I have 3 different friendships:
1) I talk to you in school only
2) I talk to you thru text only
3) I don't talk to you at all
There's only one person in Category 2, and majority makes up Category 1 (normal friends/acquaintances). And those of you who think you're in Category 3, it may be cause I have nothing to say to you or cause I want to talk to you but just can't seem to. So I have explained myself =] Tho, OK, there might be quite a number in Category 3. LOL!

Also, nowadays I'm having weird dreams - OK, I always have weird dreams - there was one where me and Lin Kee were reported bringing liquid paper and were asked to go for a check? Yes, we had to put our hands into some toaster-cum-photocopying machine with laser thing. Oh, whatever! My dreams are so out of it~ Then I woke, and, yes, it seems dreams are the product of things that are in your mind which you do not know are in there. Or - uh, something like tht. Man, I have to stop! I'm rambling already.

OK, so I'll stop here. At last, one post done! Took me awhile to drag my lazy fingers over the keyboard and tap tap tap.
