Another year has come to an end. The last time I looked back on the year that past was in 2006. 2008 holds a lot of meaning for me, so I've decided to sift through my memories of this past year, and just enjoy reminiscing of everything and everyone that made my 2008 an awesome and amazing year =)

This year was a year of many firsts for me. I did a lot of things for the first time. And I experienced a lot in those 365 days. I tried new things and in the process, I discovered myself. Many things I didn't know I was capable of doing (let alone envisage that I would), I did. I met new friends, I lost some friends. There was a lot of good and bad, but as a whole, I can say that 2008 was filled with more good things than bad.

For many people, the end of another year is the time to look back on all we have achieved. But honestly, what made the year meaningful was not much the successes we attained, but rather it is more the people we have met, the people that's made a lasting impression on us.

My friends mean the world to me. Hehe. As much as I hate to admit it, I need my friends. Haha. So here are the few that rocked my 2008 =D

Thank you all for giving me a wonderful year! As 2009 begins, I can't help but feel reluctant to let go of 2008. I wonder what the coming year holds for me - and for you too, of course. Haha. I guess only time will tell. So, I begin my fifth year in blogosphere. And my question to you is, won't you join me for the ride? ;)

Imagine this...

It's past midnight, close to 1am. You're in the rooftop parking bay of a shopping mall. Wait, correction: You're in the deserted rooftop parking bay of a closed shopping mall. Every elevator in the mall is not operating at this time of night apart from one. Unfortunately, this elevator lets you out at the other end of the parking bay. You've got a long way to walk to where your car is. Your steps are fast and big as your eyes dart from left to right.

As you pay for your ticket at the automated parking ticket counter, the voice coming out of the counter echoes around the huge empty space, simultaneously amplifying it. You walk away hastily, but can't help turning back to look at what is causing the automatic doors to slide open and close. You quicken your steps as you realize that there is nothing there - nothing that the door sensors would pick up.

In the distance, you can see your car, but that part of the parking bay seems to have bad lighting compared to the rest of the parking bay. You can only see the outline of your car from where you are. As you walk closer, it becomes clearer and you hurry towards your car, a feeling of paranoia mixed with fear creeping up on you. You quickly press the button to unlock your car, and can't help but notice how the sound of your car unlocking reverberates around the deserted parking bay. You get in and lock the doors right away, and heave a sigh of relief as you feel safe again.

Freaky? Yep. That's what happened to me y'day night (or this morning, whichever works). But it wasn't so bad b'cos Michael was there. Haha. So anyway, we watched "Twilight" y'day. The screening time was 10.45pm, so it ended about 12.45pm. It was my second time watching it. Lol. At least now most of the question marks that I was left with the first time I watched it is now answered. =)
