So Blessed by YOU

December 27th. The day. OK. So the day before I watched National Treasure 2 with Kym and Michael b'cos I thought that it would be my last happy day before I delve into depression for the last days of 2007. How wrong I was! Lol. Anyway, I couldn't sleep that night (nothing to do with the fact that PMR results would be out the next day) b'cos my cough was terrible and kept me up till 2am.

Woke up the next morning at 9.30am (once again, nothing to do with the fact that PMR results would be out in 30 mins) b'cos my phone was ringing and it was Lin Kee. She asked me what time I was gonna go and I said 10.30 and she was like, "Are you awake yet?" cos I was jus grunting and mumbling, haha. After that Povaanes called and asked me the exact same questions. Got three txt-es frm Gavin, Lil' Bro and Wei Lyn wishing me luck. Awww... how nice. I took a shower and called Michael then Kym took a shower. Was late and Melia was txt-ing me and she sounded really freaked out. Haha. The night before all relaxed somemore. Michelle called and screamed at me over the phone, it sounded like "Where are you??!! I'm here already!! My mum is nagging!! I'm waiting for you to take the results!!" Michael came to pick me and Kym and when I got out, Melia was already waiting at the bus stop. When she saw me, we ran to each other and hugged. Haha. So drama. Jia Yee asked for a hug too cos she was there.

So Michelle was at the canteen and I saw her take her results and she got 7 As! Yippee! Then it was my turn. OK, so this girl sitting beside Puan Noraini had that look on her face like, "This is not good results" as she looked at me and Melia's slips. That's when I felt so hopeless cos you're just waiting for your results, you know. Anyway, I got my slip facing down and I took it up and covered the part with the grades (haha, seriously) then when I moved my hand away slowly I saw a row of As and I jumped right up from the chair and turned to Michelle and started screaming my head off. Then Melia said she also got 7 As and then we jumped and screamed again. Lavenya came and she also got 7 As so we jumped and screamed and hugged and repeated it countless times (according to Kym and Michael). Haha! After that, I saw Jolene and I ran to her and hugged her and told her I got 7 As. Hehe. Of course must tell best friend the moment you see her right. Haha.

After that I called Dad (his response was, "Good..." but he was in a meeting, so after that he called me and said, "Mandy, congratulations!" =D), Mum ("Fantastic!"), Ko ("I'll give you RM350") and Jo ("Good for you, che") and txt-ed Koko Jeremy, Che Che Liza, Miss Chong and Gavin. Wei Lyn wished me cos she found out from Jo since they're all in Cameron Highlands. Soon Chia and Juan Gin txt-ed me and then I called them. Then I txt-ed Mr Teh (he's still my fave teacher, I know, hard to believe but it's true, lol). After another bout of screaming again, Jolene came back after taking her results and she got 7 As!!! YAY!!! Pure joy! Haha. The best thing is that my whole group got 7 As.

We were playful and enjoyed our year but it's such a great thing that all of us did well =D Awesome!!!

After that, I left with Kym and Michael and we went to Modern. I met Michelle there and she ran to me and hugged me again. Haha. Yes, we were that happy! I was too happy to eat (I know, strange, haha). Mr Teh called me and we talked a bit. Then I called Shelly after she txt-ed. I also got a txt from Jessica (cos she was in Bali) and we were saying that we really have to celebrate since all of us did well. Hehe. Yes, we definitely have to.

In the afternoon, Wei Shern and Mervy called from Cameron Highlands (they're at this Residential Bible School that a few people from church including Jo and Wei Lyn sent them to) about my results. Wei Shern was like, "Woot! Serious ah?" Haha. And Mervy didn't mention a single thing about it. Haha. After they called, Lyon called and today Jonathan called (he's at Cameron Highlands too) and said that he was busy when Wei Shern and Mervy called.

It's been so nice! This feeling really is worth working for. My results are a blessing from God and truly, God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or expect of Him and He is so good... so good! Dear Lord, I thank You so much for blessing me and my friends! Being a child of God is such a wonderful thing. I need not fear about anything but I can rest assured that God is in absolute control and whatever happens, happens for my good for God is a loving God and He only wants to bless His children.
