EASTER!

It's Easter again. D'you know that it is, in fact, the biggest and most important day in the entire year? I never thought of it like that until Aunty Christina mentioned it. Good Friday and Christmas is important too, but Easter signifies the day that GOD triumphed over death. He conquered what would've separated us from Him forever! Amazing, innit? I think so. And it's definitely a cause to celebrate.

KGH Easter Sunrise Service started at 7.00. Being in the choir, all of us youth had to be in church at 6.15. Really. Haha. Early, right? I had to wake up at around 5 and Wei Shern came at 6.00.

First there was the mime. Then the pantomime, where Mervy and Ruth had a duet while Wei Lyn, Lydidi and Melody acted. That was cool. After that, Sean, Boon Hoy and Joshua sang "Consecrate". The choir was the last presentation item. We performed "Love Crucified, Arose", "Mighty to Save" and a medley. I think we sang well. But with back-up. Lol.

After that, Mr. N. Thiran spoke. OK, so me and Jonathan weren't really paying attention. We didn't understand what he was talking about. Haha. When the message was over, headed upstairs for breakfast. The room we were initially in became crowded and we shifted next door. We being me, Mervy, Jonathan and Kym (who came later).

When we were done eating, we started camwhoring. Aiyah. It's unavoidable. Lol. After all, we were armed with two out of four handphones with Bluetooth and 2MP cams. What to do? Haha. Took A LOT of pics, but not all were kept, cause not all looked good. Hehe. There, our camwhoring session that lasted for a little less than an hour.

Now I have new pictures! Yay! It's been ages since I last took pictures. Anyway, before I end this post, here's a verse for you to reflect on:

I just got tagged. Here are 6 things I find weird about myself:

1) I get moody all of a sudden. I blame it on the hormones. Haha. Really. Amelia agrees. And so does Michelle. So, that's got solid witnesses.

2) I like rain and how the world looks when it's wet. I like lightning cause it brightens up the sky. I like the sound of thunderstorms. [All these have to do with rain, so it's under 1 weird thing]

3) I act like I don't care although it's the exact opposite. I guess it's just me on defense. But it isn't always like tht. It depends.

4) I have this inferiority complex.

5) I'm philosophical... sort of. But I don't think I hve any frens who are lik tht. Mayb there are some tht I can say something lik, "Life is... " and they'll layan me.

6) I find waking up at 4 or earlier in the morn to study makes me feel strangely placid.

I'm not tagging anyone... Hehe...

Had a day-long seminar y'day: Friendship Evangelism Seminar. It was good. Challenging. I'm still thinking. OK, anyway, after tht, frm 3.00-5.00, choir rehearsal. No power to sing adi lah.

It was a tiring day, but I still wanted to go for the rock concert at Wesley tht nite. So, went with Mervy, Kym, Brian & Wei Shern. Met Li Shia, Su-Ching and Yan Teng. Oh yeah, I met a guy I haven't seen for 5 yrs. Haha. Music was good lah. Sang a number of Hillsongs. They showed a part of "The Passion of Christ". What a tearjerker ='(

After tht, going home, me and Kym saw Pn. Giam. MGS Primary gals, rmb her? Tht Science teacher with the voice so loud it was as if it was amplified by a loudspeaker. So I was a bit tentative, then I tapped her on the shoulder and yes, this will sound lame, I said, "Are you Pn. Giam?" What kind of a stupid beginning is tht, man... Anyway, a gleam of recognition instantly showed in her eyes. She took my hand and started shaking and nodding her head. Lol. I was lik, "You rmb me? You actually rmb me?" And she went, "Yes, yes." Then she cupped her hand around my chin and said, "Same face," and smiled. Hahaha. I said my name and she was lik, "Oh, yes!" lik it made her recognize me even more. Lol. Then she turned to Kym and did almost the same thing jus tht it seemed she didn't actually recognize Kym very much. Cos Kym's a yr before me also lah. She asked us sum ques, lik who else is in our yr (I rattled off the whole of 6C tht she shud rmb: Amelia, Jing Yee, Su Vien... and she was, "Oh. Oh. Yes." Haha), which church we're in, stuff lik tht. Then she looked at me up and down and said, "Wah, sui adi." Man, it was good meeting her! Hehe. I haven't met a single primary teacher since I left three yrs ago.

I am so blessed! Praise the Lord for He has been so good to me.

Today I got my KH and History papers. KH is 85 and History is 84! Never would I have expected such results. It has been a great week. And I am so grateful. What's more, my Science results have been upgraded. Hehe. Now my marks are 98! =D And I feel like all my papers have nothing to do with me. I did my best and GOD did the rest.

So far, I've got more As than I've ever had before in one test on its own. Haha. I am happy. So happy. =)

Began my day with devotion in skl. It was raining. Really nice weather.

OK, so I prayed fervently for my English paper. I tot I got one wrong, so I was prepared. Imagine my relief and thankfulness when I received my paper: 100! Omg. GOD is good! Hehe. And it's not jus cos of my papers lah. But He's been blessing me and my frens too. Amelia, Michelle, Usha, Jia Ying, Pune-chan and all got As too. I'm so happy!

After tht, had Science. I got 93 for my paper at first. Then Michelle was looking thru my paper and was lik, "This one can get one mark lah. Go and change." So now my Science marks is 95! Hehe.

Then, celebrated Teng's b'day - at last - in 3K wit Yien Wee, Lin Kee & Chew Yong [tho there were other classmates there also]. Told them my results and they gav me hugs each. Hehe. I totally love my Harmoni frens lah. They really share my joy when I do well and support me when I do badly. Anyway, I put cream on Teng's face so many times. She merajuk a bit. I was caught off guard when she herself put cream on MY face and I chased her all the way to M and bak again. Wee did it for me in the end. Haha. Me, Chew Yong, Lin Kee & Yan Teng played wit more cream until Teng had sum on her hair already and we had to stop before she got upset. Lol. Went downstairs to clean up. And as always, splashed ourselves with water. Actually, more lik me and Kee splashed Teng wit water. Basically, I had a lot of fun. Hehe. My and Teng's pinafores got sum cream and it won't go off, but I'm sure it'll be clean after they're washed.

I only got 53 for Arts lah. I cudn't care less abt it, tho. Haha.

All in all, I've gotten 5 results already. Thank the Lord tht they're all alryte and tht I've had a wonderful day today.

OK lah. Actually, my cat, Cootie gave birth to three kittens three days ago. I don't even knw who's the father! Not tht tht matters. You knw lah, dlm zaman ini... Hohoho. Anyway, Cootie's lik, orange, grey and white so her kittens are too. Hehe. They're cute. I've only seen one, but I guess they're cute. Hahaha.

Y'day nite I watched "Eragon" with Ko and Jo. They are so noisy! They keep on going lik, "This scene is lik Star Wars," "Definitely copied LOTR," "Why the fire didn't burn him wan?" "The dragon talk so dramatically lah." Ish. I tell you. Can't even watch a movie in silence. Hahaha.

Today's 1st day of skl was, um, moody, actually. The assembly's go on for ever. And we got papers and all. But for me, skl was kind of, moody. I dunno why. Oh well. Spent a good hour talking to Su Vien. Hehe. She shud be in E lah. Lol.

Chew Yong's new specs is so nice on her it's annoying! Haha. And she got 92 for Maths. Lik, 92! Of cos I was all amazed and "Argh, argh!" at first. But I'm real proud. And real happy for her. Hehe.

I got 70 for Maths only lah. I prepared myself adi lah. So, well, I really hve to buck up. And I knw. And I'll try. Yeah. Hehe. But I got 83 for BM! Tht's good lah. Haha. Cos others got B. My tutor says he's proud. Hehe.

Oh yah, abt the SPM results. Chuan Keat got 12 freaking A1s~! I'm so happy for him. 12, man! And he's so nonchalant when I asked him how he did it. Hehe. Congrats, Josh!

So, tht was all lah. And Wong Wei Shern, the game we're playing is real boring and so long-winded. Hahaha. Let's face it, our timing is always off!

Last day of skl hols until after April. At least I spent the morn out. Hehe. Went to RKC at 8.30 with my bro, Gavin, Gerard & Jacqueline. Turns out today they're cleaning the pool frm 9.00-3.00, so me, Gerard & Jacqueline only got to swim for half an hour while Jo & Gavin played basketball.

After tht, we (me and Jacqueline) took a bath, then we went upstairs, whr the boys were playing table tennis. Gerard taught me how to play table tennis!! Hehe. It's fun, actually. Now I'm getting all hyped abt it. Lol. Anyway, I only beat Jacqueline once, and lost against Gerard & Gavin. Hehe. Sweat, man. And me and Jacqueline didn't hve any extra clothes, so we made sure not to sweat as much as Jo and Gavin (they were soaked!).

Me & Jacqueline went to The Lagoon while the boys went and bathe. Then, when they retutned, we had our lunch. Left for home. Now I'm bak, and Mum's out at Mid Valley. So, tht's all lah.

So I spent Monday waiting for Tuesday. Hahaha. Anyway, Wei Shern called y'day and asked whether he cud tag along with me and Mervy cos Mervy told him tht he's going out wit me today. Gavin said he merajuk I tak ajak him. Lol. It seems tht ppl who merajuk tak tau penat, cos he said he doesn't mind walking to SS2. Haha.

Went to Evangel 1st. Mervy bought two books and I bought one. Then, went to Salvation and got two books and a CD for myself. Wei Shern bought two CDs. Yay! My first Christian books. Not my first Christian CD, tho. Hehe.

After tht, we went to 1U. Had lunch at Wong Kok, whr we met up with Aunty Mee Ching. She said my specs is nice. Hehe. Wei Shern and Jo were making such a fuss the entire time. They're so noisy. Then Mum and Aunty MC went off, and the four of us left Wong Kok and walked by ourselves.

Wei Shern was finding for glow-in-the-dark stars. Hehe. Art Attack didn't hve any and nowhr else did. Spent the rest of our time at MPH. I saw this book, but didn't get it. I figure I hve enough to last me for now.

Then, we waited for Koko Jack at the Gelato Fruity store. Fine, choc IS the safest flavour. Haha. I had green apple. Yah. I knw. I dunno how my bro made me agree to choosing tht one.

Left 1U, and headed home. Mervy and Wei Shern watched an episode of "Heroes", then we all went to the pasar malam (Tuesday one, duh XD). Bumped into Vincent. They were going for futsal at 5.30, so Wei Shern and Jo will be joining them, ryte abt now.

Now I'm at home, blogging. Azure Ray's "Sleep" jus finished d/l-ing! I lik it. Nice song. Hehe. OK lah, txting Tutor now. Gotta layan him.

OK... Updates on my life... Hehe...

I got new specs this week! A red-black-white kind of specs, frm Oakley. Plastic, full frame. Yep. At 1st the comments were divided. Then those who said they preferred my previous one got used to this one and said it did indeed look nicer. Haha. Tuesday nite, went for choir practice, and Wei Shern (thumbs up), Gavin ("You look a lot smarter. Nice. Hehe.") and Mervy ("Cool! In the light, tht thing is lik, glaring at me.") said what they said. Lol.

Monthly test started y'day. I think I didn't do very well for Maths. Complained to Tutor. But felt better after tht. At least today's papers were good. Tht's what I think. But usually the feeling I get and the results in the end are the total opposite of each other. Haha.

I'm sitting inside =( I wanted to sit outside. Since I'll nvr ever get to be in a class in the block I'm at now, I wanted to try sitting outside! And besides, K, S & D's got their As outside. Aih. Usher sits outside, tho. Haha. She said she misses my talking. XD

Yay! I got Lydidi's ruler adi! Hoho. I saw her ruler on Tuesday nite. And it's real special. The other side's numbers are in red. It's jus lik the one I lost, which I loved so much and either misplaced or it disappeared on its own. Haha. I was s'posed to get it y'day. But I missed her after skl. So, today, stopped at the junction outside and took the ruler! Haha. I traded it with mine lah. I hve - had - 3, so I gav her choose. But she said she dunno which one to take. So I said, "Jus take it all." Then Kym called me a "ruler freak" when I showed her what was special abt the ruler. Hahaha.

I'm alone at home now. I lik being alone at home. Hehe. Havta study this afternoon. Sigh. I hope I get what I read.

Stopped drinking the Diphenhydramine and I guess it's really the prob, cos now I'm not as sick as before. Bought Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa [heard before?? =D] which is totally the best cough syrup b'cos it doesn't taste all medicine-y and horrible. It's sweet and has a nice herbal taste. Hehe. Small bottle costs RM5.40 and big bottle costs RM11 sumting if you buy at 99 SPEEDMART. XD

Anyway, jus bak frm Vincent's hse. He had - make tht has, it's still going on - an open hse at his new place which he jus shifted to. He said it's near Gavin's hse, but it SO isn't. Went there with Mervy, Wei Shern & Alexander. We were early. Lazed around in his hse until we went down to eat at 8PM. Food was good. Mervy made Wei Shern go lik, 5 rounds to get his food and then he accused Wei Shern of going lik, 5 rounds to finish the food. =_= Haha. And the lik, 5 rounds were for him.

Headed bak up to Vincent's room. I was kind of bored cos they were playing "Bluff". I didn't wanna play. Guess what? Vincent was a bit sick also, lik me. He was walking in and out of the room. To get myself occupied, I txt-ed Jon. He was at a family dinner in Damansara, but free to chat. Conversation's still carrying on.

Went bak at 9.30PM. There were a few new dishes, and fish fingers. Hehe. I grabbed one and since I was still coughing, I ate half and gav the other half to Mervy. Sent the 3 of 'em bak, and now I'm home and feeling better. Vincent says he'll call me later to tell me what he didn't tell me when I was at his hse. (",) I hope he isn't too late.

My doc gav me this cough syrup called Diphenhydramine Expectorant. I looked it up, and it has so many side effects. Now, if I take it, I'm sedating myself. It makes me sleepy, and it's just gonna make me real lazy the entire day. But I hve to finish my h/w and stuff. Aiyah. Diphenhydramine is even used in sleeping caplets. Sigh. And my cough's bad as it is. Ish.

I'm running kinda late to blog abt my CNY. Haha. Tht's cos I was in the East Coast for two days. Anyway, went to my aunt's hse first. Had sum tidbits. Then left for Mervy's gramps' hse. Kym and Lyssa were there earlier, so they weren't there when we arrived.

Oh yeah, when I entered, Aunty Suan Sim came to find my mum. She was with her daughter who's, um, I dunno how old lah. She said tht her daughter wanted to knw who was her flower girl. And tht is *ahem* yours truly. Haha. Yep. A decade ago I was a flower girl for Aunty Suan Sim together with Joel, who was the boy holding the ring. Hehe.

After tht, went upstairs with Lyon and Mervy cos the kitchen was filled with ppl so I cudn't eat yet. Jon came after awhile. Then only we went down to eat.

Visited Koko Jeremy's grandma's hse. Met Uncle Patrick and Aunty Sandy for the first time. Koko Bennett's so diff now. Haha. And met Che Che Hazel's new boyfren. So I made myself brave enough to eat the pig intestines. OK, before you guys go "Ewww..." it's NOT tht bad. You won't even knw they're intestines cos the egg covers it. The soup's nice =D Had this oyster-stuffed meatball which is real good~ This is what I call real Chinese food lah. Not the kind tht Chuan Keat had to eat for his reunion dinner. Haha. So poorthing...

Tht nite we weren't sposed to go anywhr. But we ended up in Uncle Yoon Loi's hse. Dad was lik, "C'mon, let's go. Jus received an SMS to go to Uncle Loi's hse in 30 mins." Yeah, sumting lik tht. Jon asked me whr I was going, and I told him, and he said he was there too! Lol. Che Che Ee Vee served us cookies and this cake she made which is topped with pecan and it's so good, man! It's warm and there's sum kind of sauce. Stayed there until 11PM. Koko Sek Lin and Koko Liang came a little before we left.

So, tht's all I did lah. The nxt morn went to Jon's hse for brunch. Then only left for the East Coast. Today I went to my aunt's hse in Puchong Perdana. After tht, spent sum time in 1U. Tht's abt all lah. I hve to do my h/w lah. Aiyoh.

ATT. Anti Tetanus Toxoid. I got tht injection today =] Excited, man. Haha. It wasn't all tht pain. Only the needle and the injecting of the liquid hurt. After tht, the pain was intermittent. Not lik wat Kym and Alyssa said [Quote: "Very pain wan ah. 1 or 2 hrs after tht, whole arm numb."] Haha. It's so cool, 3E went first. So I was the 1st Chinese. Hoho. After me was Amelia, then Angel.

We had the jab during Science. So when we got bak, we weren't really paying attention in class. Only M & E were done, so evryone else was asking. Anyway, no teachers entered after tht. Jus relief teachers. We finished our devotion during tht time.

The ATT jab drugged me. I was in a partially high condition the entire time after tht. And I had blood on my shirt. Not my blood. And it was at my lower right bak. Jessica said it's choc. But evryone else were shocked when they saw it, and said it was blood. Tharini found out. She said my armpit was bleeding. What the heck? And Wee was lik, "Armpit?!" Nxt time say properly lah. Haha. Anyway, I still dunno whr the blood's frm.

Oh yeah, my panda drawing (evryone did it too, the panda thing) got a 9/10. Yay! Haha. Which means I can do garisan drawings. Cool~ Sumting I'm adept at in Arts. Hehe. The tajuk was "Saya" cos Pn Hafizan gav a choice of either "Beruang", "Saya" or "Aku" so I took "Saya". Hehe. Manda's Panda.

So, ntg much lah today. Jus the injection. The intermittent pain is still there. Aiyah. Mus stop typing adi.

Damn, I miss Form 2 lik mad wei!! More now after I spoke to Pn Latha and Mr Teh. Aiyah. Haha. Bak frm Sukantara. OK, so I did 3 out of 4 exercises. I expected to be able to at least get marks for lontar peluru, but tht kind of didn't work out as planned. Instead, I surprised myself by being the fastest out of me, Pune-chan and Jia Ying for the 100m run. Hoho. And I tot I cudn't. Hehe. Lompat tinggi was pathetic. I was pathetic. My lompat-ing tinggi is pathetic. Knw why? I didn't. I didn't lompat tinggi. I was walking all the way there, touched the pole and turned around. Haha. I wanted to push the pole, buthen tht'd be lik, I'm not gonna jump anyway, might as well save the trouble.

After tht, we cabut so we didn't hve to do the 400m run. Talked to Pn Latha. Quite a long while. Had so much to say. Hehe. It was 3 Harmoni-ans and 3 Telus-ians (tht correct, Jessica?): me, Pune-chan, Jia Ying, Melia, Jessica & Ahdesya. Pn Latha said tht our batch was noisy. Akaka.

Then, walked the surau way and saw Mr Teh in his lab, listening to noise... XD, music actually, but I dunno what music. Me and Jessica called him and he turned his head a little to see who it was. I guess he cudn't actually see us. But we talked to him a bit (we being me, Melia & Jessica). I asked him whether he knew who we were. He said he did, but he still didn't tell who. Jus catch up, you knw.

Jessica got me the Lipton Red Tea. I lik it a lot. Hehe. Melia bought Root Beer. What? Root Beer. Haha. Root Beer, you knw. Then left for home lah. Done printing out letters for Jolene. Now I'm here finishing this post and Ginger's sleeping on my feet =)

Today's tuition was great cos Jing Yee and Amelia joined. Hehe. Anyway, Mr Tan is funny. Haha. He was saying "destiny" instead of "destinasi". Lol. And Mr Kua calls Su-Ching Ong. It was the 1st time I've had fun in tuition in a long time. Oh yeah, Mentos has a new berry-flavoured one. How cool is tht? Haha. I lik it.

Yay, tmrw's Thursday! Another devotion session. Excited, man. Hehe. I really enjoy tht time of fellowship, albeit a short while.

I need girl SMS buddies. Lol. A DiGi user, preferably. XD

Anyway, I hve ntg to blog abt actually. Jus wanted to tell you guys abt tuition today. Hehe. So, well, signing out.

Skl y'day was pretty free. Hehe. Me, Melia, Jessica, Angel, Juvee & Ee Von were avoiding Pn Norita. Her voice is lik a siren lah. Made a pact with Melia, Jessica and Angel. Sumting to do with devotion. Hope it lasts! Spent our time talking at the dataran. Quite nice, really. I mean, the talking part, not the dataran. Haha.

Went to the airport after tht to send Koko Wei Jin off. Guess what? Met Iri there. Haha. So surprising. Lyssa was calling me, and I turned and saw Iri. Wow! Haha. She was there to send her sister off, who's seat on the plane is beside Koko Wei Jin. So cool! Anyway, there were quite a lot of us. Faith HF lah. Missing his presence in YF today =( Oh well...

After we sent him off, the adults went to "a bakery". The rest of us went to Burger King. Then we went to find for the adults, who were in a bakery in Eden Garden called "The Bakery". Seriously. Jonathan spent RM2 on me! Haha. I knw, not a big deal, but you dunno what he used the money for XP

So, Che Che Amanda's leaving tmrw. Hve to go to KLIA again. Shud be a lot of ppl tmrw.

Brought Ko's electric guitar for Koko KK today. He'll be playing in front of VIPs for his uni's alumni on the 24th. How cool is tht?? Lol. Good luck with the performance!!

My "One Tree Hill - Season 2" d/l is almost done. Yay! Took abt 3-and-a-half days. "Ugly Betty" is premiering this week! And the 2nd ep. of "Kyle XY" airs. Haha. Suddenly I'm so into TV series.

Woke up this morn and printed out my essay for today's aural. Haha. Totally forgot abt it. Had diagnostic test for Living Skills today. The rumoured 30 ques turned out to be 50. I did OK. Doubt I'll need clinic classes.

Pn Jamuna called me for aural!! Ish ish. What to do? She knws us frm 1H, so she'll definitely call us. Sigh. But I guess it's good tht it's done with already. Oh yes, Alia didn't cum today! Lol. I'm so bad. Today's her last day in Bali. I told Cik Noraini I want to change my place. But I haven't made up my mind. Whr shall I sit??? Gur Sheetal Kaur has changed skls - again. I wasn't sensitive to her loneliness. Aih. Shud've realized it and done sumting.

Anyway, my ankles hurt lik mad now. It was alryte playing captainball (Gerard, I did play a bit XD). I pulled my thigh and leg muscles, and also my ankles. Not exactly the ankles. The front part tht connects the foot to the leg. Get it? Can't walk properly. Imagine, 4 flights of stairs. Aih.

I hve several things I need to set straight. But it's good tht I'm cleaning things up. I've ntg to lose and evryting to gain.

Today was such a sweaty day! Haha.

1st, had Merentas Desa. I seriously hve no stamina. Ran with Jolene, then met up with Lyssa & Mei Er outside my hse. Saw Mervy, Kel Sern, Ruth and a few other guys I only knw by name. When I got bak to skl, the free drinks tht ALL students are s'pose to get was gone, finished! Add summore lah! Ish. But it wud've been syrup or sumting, so, nvm lah. Got to see my bro's fren - at last. Didn't knw how she looked lik before this. After tht, had to go to the stuffy hall whr they announced the winners and stuff. I didn't get the lucky draw! Altho Yellow house is quite 'bertuah' in the sense tht out of the 5 lucky draw winners, 3 were frm our hse. In terms of the Merentas Desa, we emerged the last hse. Haha.

At 3:30, YF had a gathering on. Went to KGH, whr we played Romanopoly. I'm a serial slave lah. Haha. Became a slave thrice and a POW once. Me, Mei Er & Han were taking pics in the slave market. Haha. CCC promoted us as Happy Slaves. XD Jon was lik, "Again?" and CCC said, "Welcome bak." Lol. I didn't want to walk around anyway. Had a short lik, 5 min thing on what the game actually meant. Then we left for Chettiar Field. Me, Mei Er & Han walked there. Mei Er was screaming when crossing the road. Lol. Saw the whole MGS volleyball group there. Yan Teng was calling me frm all the way opposite. Hehe. She can recognize me, man. Good, good. Lol. Played captainball until 6, now I'm bak. So sweaty lah the whole day! Hehe. Wonder if we're goin' for HF afterds. (",)

Oh yah! Goin' bak, I saw a dead cat - wait, dying! - cat on the road. And a car driven by an Indian with tinted windows. Ish ish! Indian drivers are the WORST! Not being rascist or anyting but almost all the cars tht I've seen driven recklessly are Indians at the wheel. The cat was lik, shaking and there was blood. And my bro said sumting stupid lik, "Nvm, it has nine lives." =_= Anyway, not the moment for this. And the driver didn't even cum out! I tink it was the guy frm the passenger seat. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! Stupid, horrible, terrible, reckless Indian driver. Bang a cat and look at it die frm inside the comfort of your silly car! Evry Form 3, rmb "Pertemuan". The driver didn't even treat it lik Mun. Aiyoh! Yeesh. Ntg I can do. Jus said a prayer for the cat. XD Really. When WE can drive, let's drive with others (including animals) in mind. =)

Memories, Memories of 2006!

OK, I've decided to write a post on all my happy, fun, bad skl memories frm 2006 so tht I can put them all down and knw exactly what I've experienced with the ever awesome 2H! XD Cos nowadays I keep on talking abt 'last time, last time'. And I'd lik to list them so I can rmb how much my time with my friends really meant to me. Hehe. The keywords highlight the URLs, but tht's for me to look bak on and for you to decide whether or not it's worth your time to look at my yr. Haha. So, here goes:

FEBRUARY

• Alarm clock went off during exam. ["Who left their stupid alarm clock on?" I complained; little did I knw it was mine XD]
• Secret dedication terbocor.

MARCH

• Mr Choo asks me & Pune-chan to do sumting for him, and we set off an alarm in the car park lot, haha.
• Crowned Spelling Bee Queen for the 2nd time. Melia's there again!
• Drama: "Puss in Boots". I forgot Lin Kee was the princess and Lavenya was the King. Haha. Prize: Silly CD thingy. View blurred pics here.

JUNE

• Report Card Day + freaky winking dad incident *the horror* XP.
• I receive my President tag, but on the same day, 2H is announced as the 1st dirtiest class, yr. 2006. Asked to stand in front in all our full, complete glory. Cud it go any worser? But, honestly, it was an experience. And my class still rocks. Haha.

JULY

• My first Living Skills Masak-Masak session. Cook to crook. I ruin food. Hehe.
• English food presentation. Our potato salad ranks the best, according to Pn Pari. Hehe.
• I'm put in charge of the new seating plan for 2H. Seize the day, ryte? Well, I did. Haha.

AUGUST

• On Wei Shern's b'day, 31 July, I was asked by Pn Khairiah to stand thru assembly. And received my Spelling Bee (what, 6 months after I won?) prize at the same time. Sklmates get to see my angry look. Ppl talk abt it the nxt day. Lol. Things lik this always happen to me. The bad and the good all at once. It was cool, tho. Haha. And this was the day after it happened. [The 2nd link also shows my "urut" episode on 2H Quickie (I apologize profusely for our inane antics, haha) obtained frm a horrible nite in skl for PBSM camp, complete with blue-black swell and plant ingestion]
• Aerobikthon is launched. 2H emerges as the overall leading class with the highest collection. We all can't really believe it. After all, we nvr tot we cud do it. Hehe.
• My frens say I'm in Pantai Medical altho I was only absent for music exam (finished with a Distinction, thank the Lord! =) Reason: Leg swell and bloody hand. Haha. Several classmates and Jolene txt me after skl and ask me how I'm doing. Quote: "Want us to visit you?" LOL! Still, they're so kind. I love my classmates!
• Merdeka Class Decoration is on. 2H found out last min and took evryting we had and jus messed up the class. Evryone else said it looked great. We beg to differ ("we" being the whole of 2H). In the end, we were proven wrong when we emerged champion. Flashback: "2H!" My classmates fling their arms up in jubilance and scream in happiness. Chew Yong pushes me up as I look blurly around. I get to my feet. "Go! We won!" Stumbles awkwardly to the front and takes the hamper, threatening to drop it all over the teachers' chairs. Haha.

SEPTEMBER

• A few of us are chosen for the History Trip. Had a lot of fun. Went around collecting as much money as we cud for Aerobikthon, as tht day was the last day, and we wanted to maintain our place as the leader. Mayb we scared the ppl a little. A group of us trailing suspiciously behind and whispering. Haha.
• In the end, we were 2nd. 1M lah~

OCTOBER

• I hve my 1st Deepavali celebration!

NOVEMBER

• Last day of skl. Class party held on tht day too. Had sum pep talk on sanitary pads and stuff. Real silly. Kept my phone in my sock while waiting for Kee to call. No, it didn't stink. Haha. After a number of false alarms, me & Teng ran thru the rain to jemput Kee with the buckets of KFC. Lol.

UNDATED (This is b'cos I either do it all yr round, or I really dunno when this happened)

• Roaming the skl wit Lavenya. Pn Pari says we're inseparable. Lol. Tht's cos I take her with me when I leave the class most of the time. Getting a look-in at Pn Pari's BBQ car. Super rusty. I tot I was gonna break the door. Haha.
• Fights with a certain person. Over petty things. Almost thrice a week. Or twice.
• Water fights!

Tht's as much as I can rmb. And I really miss 2006. I didn't realize I was in the best class, had the best teachers, and the best frens until I didn't hve them around me as often as I did. I wonder if I really did treasure my time. I'm trying not to regret by making the most of NOW. Any of you feel tht way? =D

And we sang together, danced together, played together, worked our way thru boredom, studied together thru exams, upheld each other thru trying times... Basically, we went thru EVRYTING together. So, thanks for all the memories. They're the only things tht'll stay with me after the yrs pass. Luv ya guys ALWAYS!

After 3 yrs of the same template, I, or rather, Gerard has gotten me a new template! Yay! I've got a brand new look and azam yg baru utk lbh ber-blog. Haha. What do y'all tink of it? Apologies for not blogging. I hve ntg to blog abt skl. But there's sum things going on now, and I'd lik to write abt them.

GOD really works in amazing ways. I was going thru a really pissed moment (and still partially am). And I was questioning and arguing, but I was reminded once again tht what I want is not of primary focus, but I shud be happy with what I hve already been given. It was during HF. I was reluctant to go b'cos I was in a bad mood and all. But, I was SO blessed for going to Uncle Beng's hse. Evryting frm the songs and the discussion were so timely, they jus hit me! "Give them all, shattered dreams, empty hopes, lay them at the feet of GOD... " Things will be better, I assured myself. And I'm slowly tryna learn tht. I'm so grateful for this chance to grow.

The above verse tht Koko Wei Jin talked abt when we were discussing joy felt lik it was speaking to me. GOD's will. So awesome. So unpredictable. So wonderful. I've learnt to give in and still am learning. Learning to not hope for what I want but praise the Lord for what I hve. It's a great lesson =)

It's Christmas, Not X'mas =D

MERRY CHRISTMAS! [It's not X'mas. It was nvr X'mas. It shud not be X'mas.]

How was ur Christmas? Did you get many presents? Tho tht's not the point of it all. But Koko Jack got me my first gift: a book of Mark Twain's Selected Works. Hehe. The cover is kind of lik, cushioned so it's really cool. Lol.

So, on Christmas Eve, I played in the band (cello). Sesat-ed for a few songs cos I jus got the scores tht evening. But all in all, many ppl said I played well and thanked me for playing so, hahaha, I think I did fine =P

Anyway, this morn headed to church. There were many non-Christians! And hopefully, the msg got to them. Food was OK OK. Then headed to Aunty Soh Lin's hse for lunch. Now the food there was great. Nasi lemak was smashing! Especially the Sambal Prawns. And the cherries and fruit cake and pate with crackers. Hehe.

Family dinner at night. At last I had my apple pie. I hve it lik, yearly only. Then there was sum really good satay. Koko Ivan made a banana choc cake tht was as good as Secret Recipe's. Haha. We got to meet Koko Edwin's girlfren. Really fair. Haha.

Now I'm bak, and blogging. Haven't been on since Friday. Anyway, again, Merry Christmas, all! GOD bless.

Cak! Cak! Cak! XD

Cicakman. Most of us must've dismissed it with a chuckle. Yeah, it does sound ridiculous. Haha. But tht didn't change the fact tht it still peaked my curiosity. So I got Wei Shern, Wei Lyn & Jo to watch. We took the 1120 AM one. Reaching the cineplex, it was filled with Malays. ALL Malays. I knew they were here for "Cicakman". Lol. Saw a girl frm 2T too. In fact, she sat in the row in front of mine.

*Spoilers ahead. Altho this will deter you frm reading on. Haha.

Abt the movie. I hve to say. It's good. Really. For a local effort, it's a movie to be proud of. I've only watched two M'sian movies: "Sepet" and this. So far, so good =) Tho Saiful Apek doesn't really float my boat, he did serve for comic moments. CIcakman itself has quite impressive abilities, except tht they HAD to hve sumting tht makes him weak (i.e. Suuperman's kryptonite) but making it "getah" (rubber) is kind of stupid. Jus cos kids "lastik" geckos with "getah"? Oh well. The scene whr he tries to figure out his costumes are funny. Haha. Wei Shern & Jo were laughing the loudest. They're so easily humoured.

Both Ginger Boys didn't make an impression at first, but as the film moves along, their scenes become funnier. Especially the part whr they hang rubber bands linked together to form a chain! And also whr we found out tht the Ginger Boy tht translates (he speaks in three tones for each word, so it goes lik, high pitched, normal toned, and low... get it? Yeah, it's strange =D) for the other (tht speaks in the form of hand signs and gibberish) tht he steals Prof Klon's letters only to collect the stamps. Hahaha. Me & Wei Lyn didn't realize at first, until Wei Shern & Jo (of cos) started laughing again, then we understood. No one else in the cinema laughed. I guess the Malays really don't get it.

Most annoying has got to be Aznil Nawawi's portrayal of Prof Klon, the villain. His sentences are always followed by "Ha... Ha... Ha..." or "He... He... He..." or sum form of an annoying laughter. His scenes really irk me. You'd jus wished his scenes were shorter. And his suits are jus downright ridiculous. All the patterns and same colours. Horrible! Lol.

Supporting characters aren't very interesting. But the funny parts are the Menteri's who are cloned. The way they act are reminiscent of young kids. Haha. The funniest scene (for me) is the Cicakman clone. If you listen properly, you'll hear the fellar fighting with the real Cicakman and speaking in Cantonese, "Lei mo kau cho ah. Sei yen tau." Haha. Tht is SO funny. I guess tht's for the Chinese audience, altho apart frm the four of us there was only one other couple. Then when the Cicakman clone speaks in Malay: "Oh, main kasar, ah." He says it with a Chinese slang. And tht's funny too. Haha.

Point is, if you catch the movie, it won't be a waste. It's not tht bad, really. Hehe. And this must be my longest movie review =D

Ampang Park Performance

OK, I was more excited for this performance. Haha. Anyway, arrived at the skl and had a one hour practice. Went thru the 5 songs:

i) Sleighride for Strings
ii) Angels We Have Heard On High
iii) Joy to the World
iv) Jingle Bells
iv) Wish U A Merry Christmas

Then we left for the Kelana Jaya LRT station. Luckily for me and Ee Lyz (and Teacher), our cellos were sent directly to Ampang Park, whr the performance wud be held. Only the violins were brought into the train. It wasn't crowded at first, buthen when we reached the KL Sentral and (especially) KLCC stations, more ppl got on and got off.

Arrived there and found out tht we were playing outside! OMG. Imagine. On stage outside. In Malaysia. Aiyoh! And our cellos were kind of out due to the change in temp. We put on our Christmas hats (mine and Ee Lyz's were equipped with blinking stars XD). Started playing lah. Even with mics, we all sound soft. Plus, the sun was glaring! Sweating thru the 2nd song already.

When we were done, packed up our instruments and parted ways. I went to Pizza Hut with Wendee & Ee Lyz. Ate then left. Took sum pics cos it was the last time we'll see Ee Lyz. Nxt yr she'll be heading off to Sandakan for her NS. Take care there! Haha. NS, man. I wudn't want my name in. To top it all off, she'll be shifting soon, so it's uncertain whether or not she'll still learn music at our skl. Jus one cello against, what, 5 violins and a viola? Sigh.

Anyway, it was fun riding the LRT. Hehe. Good news, I don't hve ensemble this Saturday! We're taking a break =]

Vibrante 4th Annual Concert & High Achievers' Gala '06

Had my dinner at TGIF's first. There was a surprise. I was halfway thru my salmon when I caught sumone waving at me. Then I looked closer and it was Jas Min! Yes, yes, very surprising. Lol. I almost always meet sumone unexpected (not tht I expect anyone lah) when I'm out. If you've been to TGIF's or will go, you hve to try their Jack Daniels steaks. Especially the Shrimp & Salmon one I ordered. Great glaze and the shrimps are real juicy.

Anyway, abt tonite's concert; lemme make a statement: Summit is a horrible building. I reckon it was built to impress but it got so confusing tht very little ppl shop there. Imagine, carrying my cello, walking all around the place. Sheesh. Reached the auditorium, collected my flower corsage (for High Achievers; the flower really stinked lah, so said Ee Lyz), went backstage and passed my cello into the safe hands of my teacher to tune my A string. Then I got to knw two new cellists: Kylie, 15 and Swea Phin, 16. I'm still the youngest. Lol. They cudn't believe I was only Form 2. [Quote: "But you look so matured!"] I get tht all the time. Haha.

OK, I didn't play by heart. Haha. I guess I wud've freaked out and forget all the notes frm Minuet anyway. My timing was fluctuating. Leena told me I was rushing then I went so slow and rushed again, etc. Lol. After tht, we were all sitting comfortably at the side of the auditorium, when Teacher came in and beckoned to us. "Cello Ensemble is now! They moved us in front." Swea Phin was freaking out. And Kylie was already hyperventilating. Me and Ee Lyz, haha, quite calm lah. Lol. But I really enjoyed playing with four other cellos together. Then the last performance was our String Ensemble. We were practicing in the hallway outside (me and Ee Lyz were standing; it's not tht bad, standing and playing the cello). Tht was good too, jus tht evryone else had left. Haha.

Really tired when I got bak. But I only slept at 1 AM. Thank You for getting me thru tonite's concert =)

Assam is the death of me.

See, I got my cough - again! Before this, it subsided, then I ate so much junk and choc tht it returned (I tot I was alryte adi) and now, jus when I tot I was alryte again, I went and downed a bottle of assam, and now my cough's bak. Worse as ever, plus flu and my ear hurts. Note : ENT (ear nose throat). Aiyah! I really don't learn my lesson. Haha.

Anyway, today was sposed to be another day spent wastefully. But Mum came into my room while my head was aching frm sleeping way too long (Jolene warned me adi). 'Aunty Mee Ching is going to 1U with her two daughters today. Do y'all wanna go?' 'Um, yah. OK.' 'Wanna go ah?' 'Ntg to do wat at home. Ask Jo also lah.' My bro was nxt door in my elder bro's room playing Survival Project (he spent an entire day d/l-ing all sorts of online games and settled on this one). Mum came into the room again : 'Get ready. Aunty Mee Ching will be coming in awhile.'

So, went to 1U lah. And when I first entered the car, Lyssa was lik, 'Manda, you're the only one wearing slippers.' She pointed at my Reef flip-flops and said, 'We're all wearing Converses.' Haha. Then I said I shud go home and change. Lol. 'No, jus admit you're the one tht's out,' she said. And she stepped on my flip-flops so many times while we were walking (not on purpose lah).

Anyway, I spent lots of time browsing thru magazines in MPH. There's so much gossip on Hollywood and stuff. Makes me wonder why exactly shud their lives be of any importance to us, really? Except for sum actors/actresses tht I lik lah. Lol.

After tht, had lunch at Wong Kok Char Chan Teng. Man, I wanted to eat there so long adi. Now I get to. Hehe. (Cuz, HK food ah! =P) Ordered lots of stuff. Jo had this drink called 'Red Dragonfly'. Haha. Sounds weird, doesn't it? But it tasted good. Sumting lik honey and apples. There were other weird-sounding drinks too. E.g. : 'Snow Cat', 'Salty Dog, 'Black Spider'. Lol. Mum and Aunty Mee Ching ordered this XO Fried Rice tht was SO good! And I was lik, digging into Jo's Cheese Baked Rice with Seafood. Tht was good, too.

Walked a bit more. Then we saw these 3 lala girls. Haha. Knw tht label? L-A-L-A? We were making jokes abt them. Seriously, they looked very funny. Hehe. At last, bought socks for myself for badminton. Been wearing Jo's Converse ones for the past three weeks. Before we left, took away sum Auntie Anne's Pretzels (try their Dutch Ice, it's the best!).

The 4 of us were crammed into the backseat of Aunty Mee Ching's Wira, eating our pretzels. Lyssa started a topic abt MGS. Yes, our dear skl. There's so much to talk abt MGS. And she was telling us abt an occasion whr she went to check in the toilets (it was her duty) and she found two girls making out. Ick.

Now I'm bak, and tired but happy tht I didn't spend my day at home doing who knws wat. The only thing tht puts me out is my ENT prob. Gah.

100th Post

Yay, it's my 100th post! And I'm gonna blog abt today, which was the 1st time I did sumting. But, well, you'll find out what it is. OK, so I went out with Kym, Mervy, Wei Shern, Lyon & Mei Er to Sunway Pyramid. Took the train, and a bus, and a cab.

Headed there to catch a movie. But we didn't decide before tht. Oh yeah, rewind. Y'day I caught 'Casino Royale'! Daniel Craig so totally rocked. I've nvr seen Bond presented in such a light before. And Eva Green is such a beauty. Haha. Now does evryone lik Bond? I cudn't find any fellow 007 fans T_T His Aston Martin is smashing, and I love tht scene in the shower (for those who've watched; who knew James Bond cud be so considerate?). I didn't tink much of M, hehe, but the cardiac arrest and DIY defibrillator scene is way cool.

OK, so we ate first. Took such a long time to make a decision. At last, we ate at Kenny Rogers Roasters. Then Gavin txt me and asked how was 'Casino Royale'. After tht, we left for the cineplex to get tickets. Knw what we got? 'One Missed Call: Final', a Jap horror movie, for the 1st time! Despite me being quite a coward when it cums to tht genre cos it made me cry before (but tht was actually b'cos Nyuet Fen shouted at me, haha, I was so young lah), I was feeling exceptionally brave and adventurous. Lol. But Mervy was kind of the opposite. He wanted the 3 of us (+ me and Wei Shern) to watch 'Death Note' or 'Happy Feet' with him, but Kym and Lyon already bought the tickets for 'OMC: F'.

Anyway, we entered Cinema 9 and I sat between Kym & Mervy. I finished my Picnic Chocettes even before the show began. Anyway, 'OMC: F' was the last instalment of the whole 'One Missed Call' series. It wasn't all tht scary. Sum parts were sort of hanging so I didn't really get it, but it didn't stick in my mind after tht. Hehe. I tot I wud need to stay over at Kym's hse tonite in case I cudn't sleep, but I guess I'll manage fine XD During the death scenes, Kym was covering my eyes and going, "Manda, don't watch." Lol. Twice Mervy touched my hand to show tht he was so cold. Haha. And the row behind us was kind of funny, made me & Kym laugh when they were: 'Cepat lari!' 'Lempang tu Mimiko.' And more. Haha.

Then we left Pyramid in 2 cabs. I was with Mervy & Wei Shern and we went to Subang Parade. Called the other 3 and found out they were in Carrefour. Then we walked an entire round when we cud've taken a short cut. Sigh. Oh well, it was fun anyway.

In the train, me, Lyon & Wei Shern were playing with the poles. Haha. Then when we stopped at Pdg. Jawa (I tink, Lyon & Wei Shern can't rmb, sheesh =P), I tried out the red button [which closes the door]. Haha. So I pushed the button after awhile, cos I had to see whether anyone's comin' out. Jus when I closed the door, an Indian lady stood up, saw the door closed and sat down again. Lol. Kym was lik, 'Say sry!' So when she left the train, I whispered an apology as she past. Haha. Still counted lah.

Now I'm bak. Had quite a nice day =) Dunno what to do for the rest of this week. Sigh.

First, I need suggestions on whr to go for BM tuition, Form 3. I definitely need to, but I dunno whr to go. So, huddle up, frens, and help me out.

Second, the monitor tht I won two yrs bak during Std. 6 has given way - at last (not in a now-I-can-get-another way but an I-knew-this-was-coming way). It's screen turned all colourfully hazy. And in the evening, it cracked. Now, I can't listen to all the music in it and hve to content myself with Bro's laptop full of indie music and whatnot, or else I hve to settle with Jo's Walkman phone consisting of pop tunes and sum alt-rock tht I prefer. My phone, meanwhile, has very little space in the memory stick and I don't tink I need get another one with larger space.

Third, I am SO bored! Save me... Actually, ryte now, I cud spend my time practising my cello. But I'm too lazy to get it out. I totally hve to get a stand for it. Teacher'll definitely realize I didn't practice. Haha. I hve to make sure I can play "Gavotte" and "Minuet" properly. Summore I mus prepare for concert. Oh no! I hate playing solo in front of a crowd. Givs me the jitters. At least with the ensemble, it's a whole lot better.

Fourth, there're sum movies on my to-watch list. One of em is definitely "Casino Royale". At last, another Bond movie! Do you guys knw I'm a 007 fan? Bet you don't. Haha. Yes! Since I watched "Never Say Never", I've been a fan. Lol. Daniel Craig is so gonna rock! Also, I wanna catch "Flushed Away" (cos the animation is by Aardman, creators of "Wallace & Gromit") and "Happy Feet" (cos it's got a stellar cast!).

Fifth, I can't believe they published a movie tie-in for "Eragon"! It's lik, I hve the original cover, and tht's pretty boring cos now they hve Edward Speleers on the front. Gah. MPH definitely does not allow exchanges. Especially not when the receipt is missing and it was purchased more than a yr ago.

Fire It Up

OK, so in the end I went for the Planetshakers thing. Haha. It's jus lik the Interskl Rally. Nxt time I shudn't jus pore over the decision the entire day and jus go. Lol. So, I wasn't going to go if I cudn't find transport. But Gerard said he cud pick me, so me, Gerard & Lyssa hanged at BRSC until 7 PM, whr we had our dinner. Lyssa, you finished the beef lasagna! Haha. Btw, Truffles is missing T_T Pray he'll return. Saw Wei Shern & Mervy (Wei Shern cut his hair, tho I knw lah, but I saw, and I won't tell what I tink =D)

We arrived in KEC whr there were so many ppl and limited space. It was real stuffy. I wudn't've realized tht all the Form 2s were outside if Jessica didn't call me. Haha. Now, abt the whole thing. Seeing tht I'm not exactly a fan of Planetshakers (Hillsong is definitely more my thing) I didn't enjoy the singing session. I planned not to go in front, but seeing tht I went to Lyssa's place, and she pulled me along, and I dragged Vincent along, we ended up in front. At the rally, it was me & Kym who were standing still, now it was me & Vincent. Haha. The ground felt lik it was shaking, albeit very little, not lik, an earthquake kind.

The speaker was very good. He was really entertaining and funny. So tht was really nice. Ended at 11 PM, and then Gerard's parents invited me & Lyssa to go to the mamak for a drink. Gavin was there and so was Jacqueline. Both of them weren't at the Planetshakers thing cos of tuition and skl, respectively. SKL! Jacqueline is such a GOOD student. Haha.

Then, Gerard sent me & Lyssa home. I love his car. Smells so nice and the air-cond is so powerful. And it's high, too. Haha. Arrived home at 12 AM, but I slept at 1 AM.
